Come on the lads it's not that bad we are used to it by now. Would have loved to win but we showed great heart for an injury riddled side to come back to take it to pens. On to the next one eyes on the Fa cup

When everything goes against you, even something like changing the away goal rule, it is really very hard to not think we truly are cursed.

With a depleted team and the Chavs having to beat us on pens, is not bad at all. We made them sweat. C'est La Vie. We've still a lot to look forward to. The lads showed a lot of heart tonight COYS

Gutting to go out like that. However we did quite a lot to piss all over our own chances and then set them on fire for good measure as well. And despite the improved effort in the second half, we were nowhere bringing our best game however patched up the team is.

Tough, but they've got to learn (especially the manner of the first goal) and use it going forward.

Are we ever going to win anything again?
I’ve been saying for a while that we’re simply not equipped to win trophies. You can see it every time we’re in a semi or any pressure cup tie- we find a way to lose. Admittedly we were a bit unlucky today.

I’m sure we will win trophies again but I’ve never felt that it will be this team that breaks our duck, and probably it will be under a different manager.

The main appeal of Top 4 to me is the fact it should make us more likely to win trophies eventually. So far, that ain't happened, and we dont have a stadium.
Anyone who looks at this as a failure - is simply not paying attention to what is happening at the squad at this moment in time. We can barely put together 11 healthy bodies. Injuries piling up at the exact wrong time.

Was always going to be difficult for us to go into penalties without any of Kane, Son, and Dele. Not sure Dier ever should have been picked as one of the five, mind.
Can’t believe he just didn’t slam it down the middle, I can’t understand why more players don’t any more...

Bollocks. Was always going to be tricky with our injury situation but it could hardly have gone worse. Lost the game and picked up even more injuries ffs

We don’t have the technical quality for me to be confident about pens

They simply had better footballers available to take their penalties I think

Of course it’s a lottery but when it comes to such things, we rarely prevail! Semi final defeat again
No shit, look at the players we are missing. Presumably son, dele and Kane would all have taken one. In any case, I'm fucked off. We should be going through on away goals, otherwise what's the fucking point of two legs? Just play it at a neutral venue
