You call my club a joke club..
Fuck off you mug
I would argue it's my club just as much if not more but let's not get into that... The joke ref refers to the amount of ammunition can be thrown at us IE stadium, signings etc... Which is pretty frustrating... And pretty sure at minute u can see this...and trust me I get this ten fold all the time which annoys me and gets to me... That being said regardless Ian COYS till I die and wouldn't change it for nothing in this world

I f we had Kane, Son and Ali playing, it most likely doesn't reach penalties because we smash them......if it does get to penalties our chance of winning the shootout increase by a factor of 3 with those 3 as penalty takers

If they had Hazard, Willian and Kante out, they get smashed and it never gets to penalties.

we will have to put up with the lazy bullshit media narrative for a few days or even weeks. It will be irritating but hey ho we're used to it by now.

Old spurs would have been thrashed. This Spurs didn't feel sorry for themselves, use injuries as an excuse or lose belief.

It sucks, but we'll have to get over it. FA Cup, three winnable league games and champions league against Dortmund. For those running around with their hair on fire.........pull yourselves together.

It’s a Mickey Mouse Cup, I’m not even sure what it’s called anymore? The name changes every year! The last team to win the Carling Cup was probably us. We’ll just have to win the treble.
Oi!...It's the Carabao Cup ffs...that's the second most popular energy drink in Thailand I'll have you know!

Stop fe
Call me old fashioned but I always think you have a better chance of winning a shoot out if a) your shot is on target, and b) your goal keeper at least dives one way or the other. (Edit- aside from the pens Gazza played well. His distribution is wayy better than Lloris imo.)

Diers penalty was woeful.
Gazzas keeping in the pens wasnt great.
Mouras pen was not 'a great save' Alan Smith, it was a shit penalty which was about 4ft from the post. Any keeper diving the right way saves it.
Our first half performance was painful but proud of how we played 2nd half.
Chelsea were rattled after we scored.

Playing Arsenal, Chelsea home and away and then Man City in the final was never going to see us lift this trophy even if we'd been full strength. I mean who the fuck gets a draw like that???

I dont give a shit about the hame this weekend or the CL.

Get the fk out of them all, concentrate on bringing CL home to NWHL next season and forget about cups because we just dont get the luck of the draw ever.

We are without doubt an unlucky club.
4th but 5th win cl.
Away goal rule abolished, sorry.
Honestly you couldnt fkin make it up.
stop feeling sorry for yourself

lads, lads, lads and everybody :cautious:

I think I've found a new angle on things.

What's our semi-final record since Levy took over the club?

huh? huh?

Surely worthy of being tarred and feathered. Not that you'd need much. Probably a half a litre of tar and a whole chicken.

What did Poch say then? I hope he was fucking pissed off. It’s another big game we’ve lost. I would be pissed off if he wasn’t pissed off!

Pretty much agree.
After 40 years I'm just a bit tired of hating everything.

Lol.

My Aussie Rules side - Hawthorn - have been the most successful Club in the last 50 years. I've spent my entire life watching them win everything all the time.

The best "moments" are watching when you're not the "best". When you're up against everything.

Make no mistake - we were up against"everything" tonight. And we did ourselves proud.

Sorry you don't get your twinkly little cup.
Wait, did you just basically say you'd rather take excitement from being an underdog than actually be a favourite and win?

It would cost zero money to learn from things happening and start defending set pieces properly. This is the fourth or fifth time, and the second cup semi final vs. Chelsea in fact, we have conceded a goal in that manner. All second half for their corners though still we left two men edge of the box unmarked.

You can argue we should have more players, spent an extra _____ million pounds, sport at the top level is often the finest of margins. You have to learn and eradicate them as much as possible, and in some aspects where we have had ample evidence now we show no signs of learning. Honestly think being a bit smarter and focused is the biggest factor that gets us over the line, rather than what we do in the transfer market.

You could say that about tactics and positioning at other clubs and yet they spend nearly every window. Even the clubs that aren’t as rich as ours have spend more than us. If you don’t keep up you’re going to get left behind as is being shown. Look at Man City and Liverpool. Both spent money in the summer, both above us and more likely to win something because they have more depth. You can train positioning and tactics to any player but all players have a limited ability, hence why you buy players with better ability.
