It’s all good to say we had injuries etc

But it’s all too easy to say with Kane Son Alli we go through. We had them all on the pitch in the first leg and Chelsea dominated us.

At the end of the day it’s yet another semi final, another huge knock out game, another semi against those ****s, where we lose.

We just never seem to do it when it really counts. Chelsea do. That’s why they have loads of cups compared to we do. In the semi final two years who they left Hazard and Costa on the bench and still beat us.

Last season to United. This season to Chelsea. Three years ago to United. Chelsea in the league cup final. We never win fuck all and this is supposed to be our best era. It’s a joke.

Sick of it. Always the losers.
Ah well.

Look on the bright side.

Poch on the injuries: "Sissoko is ok, just tired I think. A small thing sure for Ben Davies and the rest are ok."

Its because too many, seemingly including those in charge which is a worry, are happy with the status quo.

Shall we all ignore the Lino flagging Lamela offside when he was clearly onside and through on goal? What’s the point in VAR if you’re not going to use it?
The FIFA ruling is that the Lino does not flag and if a goal is scored it can be checked. In their wisdom the FA have decided they won’t do that during this trial season. Michael Oliver said that after the first leg.
Next season will no doubt be a nightmare when it’s in for keeps. As it is in Spain Italy Germany and France.

We deserved to lose that over the 2 legs and I am not slagging anyone other than Poch for not having Llorente ready to step in wehn needed. Let's 'ave it.

You make your own luck, that’s the problem

No you don't. Otherwise it's not luck.

If you toss a coin and call heads and it lands on tails 5 times in a row, is that because you've made your luck? No. It's because you're unlucky.

Liverpool are lucky that Salah only got injured at the end of the season leading in to the world cup and has otherwise played virtually every game. We are conversely unlucky that Kane and All have got injured at the same time that Son is on international duty.

Ultimately the right team won over the two legs.

The only team that were capable of bottling it tonight were Chelsea...they didn't get a goal at Wembley and they should have scored more in the first half and in the second.

Great character in the second half to stay in the game and get the goal....we can point to Llorente's miss...but in reality we were incredibly fortunate over the two legs to get to within a penalty shootout of going through.

The squad we have doesn't have enough to make winning things realistic...obviously you always have A chance...but we don't have enough quality to tip the odds in our favour as all the other clubs in the BIG 6 have.

That is why when you look at the trophy hauls of the top 6 over the last 10 years, we are the odd one out...all the others have won at least 3 trophies...we have won 0.

The odds will not change until we set ourselves up for success.

I'm not angry at all tonight...we actually did much better than expected...we were massive underdogs for the game and very nearly got through.

I was talking about a summariser.ffs.?. Feck all about the game.. Gutted like all Real spurs fans.. I get out of bed in the morning I'm. Still a proud spurs fan.. All ifs and buts Football is, shite sometimes but I console myself I'm. A real fan of a real club unlike those ****s who buy games we played tonight.

Sorry...I was agreeing with you...it was Joe Cole I was referring too as talking shite, and your original comment was about Joe Cole...I know he’s Chelsea, but to disregard our 3 players out, claim Chelsea are far ahead of us (they aren’t in the league) was taking partisan to the extreme

Wait, did you just basically say you'd rather take excitement from being an underdog than actually be a favourite and win?

No. Clearly not.

I said I've experienced the thrill of watching your team be the best - over and over and over.

But I've rarely been prouder of a performance than what I saw second half tonight.

Do people really not realise how on the ropes we were? Have been for months. Thought United was the knock out blow. Wasn't.

WE. KEEP. GETTING. UP. OFF. THE. CANVAS.

That is what sport is all about. Getting up off the canvas.

Like Ali when he LOST to Frazier. Didn't matter. He kept getting up off the canvas. That was what showed he had truly transcendent Champion qualities.

We are fucked and won't win fuck all this year. But if we keep doing what we did tonight I'm excited and, more importantly, want those players to know how fucking proud I am to support them.
