That went well then obviously .

I don't see how anyone could say Poch didn't make a mistake, but he's still a young manager and it wasn't the sole reason we lost the game.
i don't think they are, he was fucked either way...easy to pick out fault looking back though isn't it?

You can say that about anything. The only way to fully critique something is in hindsight after it's happened. However, most people were questioning the line up, particularly as Davies was fit enough to be on the bench.

Poch obviously saw it a different way. He is the best thing to happen to our club in decades, but he's not immune from mistakes.

Again, no ones saying he is.

I think i read somewhere yesterday that after playing our last seven games at Wembley we have conceded ten goals from fifteen shots on target or something crazy like that?

If this is true then Levy should switch our games next season to Spotland, or The Keepmoat.........

From today's press conference:

Poch says he played Son at wing back on Sat to be more offensive. No Davies injury. #thfc

Awful, awful decision. Cost us the game.

Horseshit. That's a lazy comment of someone who didn't understand what they were seeing. Apart from the penalty, neither Moses or Willian got a touch in our area.

Son was there to help pin Chelsea back and keep them on the back foot. Something we did fairly well. If Son hadn't have given that penalty away, you wouldn't hear anyone moaning about it.

Poch said similar in fact on Son:

Pochettino said: “It is only me who makes the decision and I think the plan was good. We had to play very offensive to force them to play deeper.

“How many times do you see Moses arrive in the final third? One – and that ended with the penalty. That was unlucky.

“They had only one corner. We had 11. If you see the stats, it was a completely unfair result. But that is football. Sometimes you can get nothing when everything is against you.

“Sure, when you don’t win you allow people – fans, the media – to say that it was not a good selection. I understand that. When you win, you are a genius, when you lose, you are a disaster.”

Except that he did....

From the chart above it looks like Moses got a fair bit of joy down our right flank...

But he did? He committed one of the most stupidest tackles you'll likely see all season. Would Davies had made the same one? Who's to know but I highly doubt it.

To be clear we obviously have the benefit of hindsight.

But Davies has also given good attacking contributions in our recent premier league games so I think it would be wrong to say that we would have been significantly worse of going forward with Davies rather than Son.

I think the lack of familiarity also made our CBs nervous early in the game and contributed to the other goal we conceded also.
