The only negative today for me was Lloris for the goal and Son not squaring it to Lamela but fortunately we got the goal. A great win at the shitty Bridge

I'm sure it's been mentioned already, and Neville alluded to it in commentary too, but our game management after going 3-1 up was fantastic. The players knew Chelsea would come out all guns blazing chasing a two goal deficit and weathered the 5 minute storm they brought on brilliantly. Chelsea looked like they just ran out of ideas then. We allowed them the ball in front of us. They got half way round the back of us once or twice at most after the 3rd goal. We could have scored another couple had our passing been more accurate on the counter attack but even at that I don't remember ever being ultimately concerned that Chelsea were about to score. Lloris didn't have to make a save that I can remember.

Poch interview after the game was everything it needed to be too. Classy, no over zealous celebration, just happy to have won the game.

Lamela put in a shift for us and i thought did really well at the #9. He never stopped running, he fought for every ball that was put to him, he drew in defenders allowing Sonny and Dele to make runs. He did a great job.

I didn't like the matchup for Davies today and he scuffled a bit early on but he worked hard all game and ended up playing pretty well.
Lamela gave Fabregas a couple of whacks and got away with it. Obviously not forgotten two years ago

Always thought Shatner was cool. Eddie Murphy said he was the coolest White man in the World.

And he follows Spurs...

Man is a God!

Let's face it...we've all had this expression following Tottenham at some point or another:

My Spurs induced pessimism is so deeply ingrained at this point, I cannot conceive of winning this game. I'm resigned to defeat; probably via a 90th minute offside deflection. Or Kane will hit the post so hard it will rebound straight into our net whilst Lloris is tying his laces.
They sure shut me up! This team is the real deal now - beating them on their own patch after going behind says everything.

I just hope we can win the cup this year - we deserve a trophy.

.... and he didn't bite regarding the Lamela/Fabregas question - classic Wenger response - he didn't see it LOL

We kept giving them the ball back. If that had been Man City they'd have got back in the game.

This is always a worry for me, we go 2 clear and then start just handing the ball to any opposition from the top six; we don't do it against the smaller teams.

City are the only team that would have probably gotten back into that though. That's a poor example. It shows we know how good our defence and counter attack is and can be. Confident in the game plan

I think we'll lose this today and those ****s will use it as momentum to pass us for 4th by the end of the season. Obviously I don't want that to happen even one little bit, but I just have a bad feeling that that's how it's going to play out.

Please, Spurs, sock it to me today and make me look like the daftest, most unduly pessimistic tit ever: I'll thank you for it!

As promised earlier, I'm now calling you a pessimistic tit but if there's any consolation, you're my favourite pessimistic tit (although you're the only one that I know of). :)

"the spurs" :yuck:

Still, he is the Shatner so I guess he gets a pass.

Marina Sirtis was my main reason for watching The Next Generation in the early '90s.

Are there any chance of retrospective actions against Jan or Lamela or did the ref see the situations?
