Well a point doesn't really help us but it was a brave fighting point against, I have to say (and it pains me) a bloody good Chelsea side. Their play really impressed me at times, the trinity of mata, Oscar and hazard were excellent at times.

Thought we were sloppy for large parts of the game but finished strongly again. Ade, Walker and Jan were very good, BAE, Sig, and Holtby were good.

Still holding out hope that Wigan will come up with something next week and that in turn will keep Newcastle interested. Fingers crossed.

Holtby and BAE good?????????????

I don't think I have ever seen them play so badly. Parker, also contributed nothing again and Dawson completes the quartet of players from tonights worst performers.

Glorious. That backheel was sublime and Glyfi's first touch and finish are better the more you see them. :notworthy:

Dawson and Hudd were horrible to watch tonight.

Ha only football fans could have such different views on a game!

I thought Holtby worked hard and was the most effective at winning the ball back in the first half. I think him and Parker suffer from having Hudd in the side.

BAE, yeah maybe more Meh than good but it was a good pass for the goal!

Nice quick passing for the second goal which we lack sometimes. Obviously Ade motm, maybe he should accidently wear azza's shorts more often!

I noticed this as soon as the game began! Couldn't work out whether Ade had grown another foot, his legs looked 6 feet long in themselves.

It could well end up being the difference between 4th and 5th.

Arsenal have a tough job on their hands to win both games against a Wigan team that will be fighting for Prem survival, and a Newcastle side that are always hard to beat on their own turf. The geordies will be determined to finish the season on a high in front of their supporters.

If they win both games they fully deserve Champions League. Equally if they drop points and we can't beat Stoke and/or Sunderland, we really don't deserve it.

Defeat would realistically have been the end of the season. It's still very much alive now, and after years of our seasons being over by February I'm loving it.

Not a great performance and not the result we needed.

Still a draw away at Chelsea is always a good result and most of the players did themselves proud tonight.

Hudd and Parker were rubbish and Benni took his cool persona much too far.

Everyone else can hold their head high.

Reckon 4th is gone though.

No I don't think so. The gooners are obviously big favourites now, and I'd agree with that. However I said before the game that 7 from our last 3 games could be enough, and I still think that.

We have a chance, which is more than we would have had if we'd lost tonight. That's not optimism, that's a fact.

And everyone knows if you end a sentence with the word fact, it's a fact. Fact.

Its not really though.

If we beat Stoke I make Arsenal favourites, but not overwhelmingly. If Newcastle away was our last fixture we would be panicking let me tell you, despite their poor season - its still a tough place to go if they turn up.

Look on the bright side that is Europa Cup qualification almost assured.

Before anyone laughs it wasn't that long ago we were working out the combinations of getting into the old uefa cup.
Anyone remember Prague?

It's not out of the realm of possibility that Chelsea draw against Villa and Everton too, but I think the most likely way now is hoping Arsenal drop points, even if they beat Wigan a draw at SJP isnt out of the question at all, but yeh we just need to make sure we win our two games, get that done and we know we've applied the maximum amount of pressure we possibly could have at least, that point could prove to be very crucial as it keeps Arsenal within touching distance, and Chelsea close enough too to keep them looking behind at least, COYS!
