The thing is - if the ball hits your arm straight after hitting your chest you could argue it wasn't intentional and therefore not handball - it's all academic of course - we got lucky and about time

Obviously it hit his arm if he said it did.

However, having watched the replay over and over, in slow motion, it is impossible to tell whether or not contact was actually made with his arm, so the ref was right not to give it.
