Tottenham's Vlad Chiriches says he's not happy at the club because he's not getting regular first team football. The defender has been linked with a move to Juventus.

I think its fair to say "Spurs fans unhappy at Chiriches"

No. Please don't leave. This is terrible news. I won't sleep tonight now. I am so saddened to hear this. Please start him in the next game.

Above are responses you won't find in this thread.

To be honest, he was a little 'shaky' at the start of last season but then seemed to start to find himself and give glimpses of his potential but then didn't play much.

This season, on the few occasions I've seen him, he's been shocking and at fault for several goals. Assuming that Poch' is indeed after another centre back, with Kaboul, Verts, Dier, Fazio (assuming he doesn't follow the same rapid decline as Vlad!!) and the newbie, I'd probably say we are safe to let Chiriches go.

I think Vlad should get another chance. However, he must now raise his bar to near perfection after his last couple of performances. Flushing him down the toilet of history because of a bad game or two doesn't warrant wanton excommunication.

When he had a bad game I was disappointed, but virtually everyone did, but the next game he looked both clumsy and lazy. Clumsy I can forgive, but his lack of effort shone and cost us dearly. The last time he played he just looked plain lost.

I'm sure he has ability but he needs to decide whether he wants to earn a living playing premier league or just put in championship performances and collect paychecks from a lower league/oversees club

Some players are just not suited to the English game.

I think centre back is a position you have to be very careful with when purchasing abroad.

We had ITK about some players starting to make waves about not being happy blah blah...
Here's one that looks like this- if he moves on to another club. Best wishes as he hasn't set the world alight but if the manager and coaches want other players- GET THEM IN.

At least last year when he fell down it was because he was drunk. Now it's cause he's trying to defend.

Shame, I like the skills he showed but his errors are so much more.
Wish him well, if we can sell!
Hope he improves if we don't.

To be honest, that game against Besiktas was shocking for Vlad and he was rightly dropped for the next few games. But our other CBs seem to be in competition over putting in a worse performance and I must say a few have gotten close!

I think he deserves one last go. And this is coming from someone who has never really rated him.
