Did this factoid have a point? Or were you just reminding us of facts that have been in evidence for a substantial amount of time. Because if you are suggesting that Benteke would be a reasonable buy because Trippier can cross the ball then I hope you see the fault in that logic.
As JJ implied we don't play that way. Sure Trips has a cross but when that is all we have it is easily defended. It has not been as effective tool this year. Chelsea made us look inept relying on that bullshit crossing. Burnley made us look bad as well. Additionally, if all goes to plan Trips will not be the starter beyond September and will probably be usurped by KWP by next year which would leave us with a Benteke sized elephant in our team to go with the Sissoko sized one we already have.

It was mentioned by JJ that we would have to purchase wingers were we to get Benteke. The implication being that we don't play that way. To expressly state this factoid, one that everyone already knows and concedes, adds nothing to the conversation as I am sure it wasn't an oversight by JJ. Making the statement after that Trips can cross implies a disagreement with JJ's statement. Now, however, we know that this is not the case.
And 2 things: 1) Utilizing the 'reply' button is effective when replying to a poster. 2) Telling someone to calm down never actually accomplishes that. Typically my response would be less diplomatic. I guess in this instance an emoji would be helpful so as to know the manner in which the statement was intended.
