Christian Eriksen latest as Spurs do not follow up interest in transfer return

Tottenham have not followed up their interest yet over a free transfer for Christian Eriksen this summer. Spurs have been linked with making a move for the 30-year-old Denmark international to return to the club, particularly following comments during the season from Antonio Conte stating that he would like to see the midfielder back at Tottenham.

Although I'd love to have him back, I don't think we need to hang about indefinitely waiting for a decision. If Conte wants things wrapped up early we might have to move on at some point.

Really hopeful that we re-sign CE, just adds a different dimension and can play in middle or either side of a front 3. Gives AC some tactical flexibility.
