Of all our summer signings, Eriksen may not have been the most expensive, but was the player who excited many the most.

After a really bright start to life at White Hart Lane, injuries and our first 11 chopping and changing each week resulted in a dip in form and loss of confidence.

Since our change of manager, Eriksen has put a run of four successive Premier League games together playing the full 90 minutes in each match, scoring two and assisting one in the process.

Setting up our first goal with a lovely cross for Ade and scoring the winner himself at Old Trafford yesterday in only his 9th league start is hugely encouraging for a player who is still just 21 years old.

It seems that Eriksen is finally starting to lay the foundations to a really promising debut season in our colours and I for one am hugely excited to see where he goes from here and what his next performance will bring.

He's been doing very well down the left which makes me think I would love to see, at some point, a 4-3-3 with Lamela wide right and Eriksen wide left.

I accept that Azza deserves to keep his spot for the time being though and 4-4-2 has been bringing us sucess

Great performances for Spurs of late, really looks like he's settling in now and enjoying himself.

Plus he's recently become a dad, here's a pic of the little sprog.

Cute eh?

I think, over the course of this season, he will become a key player for us

He needs to be a bit more aggressive in defence and consistently assertive going forward.

One minute he's genius, the next he's misplacing a 5 yard pass - a combination of concentration and fitness levels as far as I can see.

I can't wait to see the Summer signings acclimatise to Premier League football - despite our problems last year, Spurs fans should be very excited about the next couple of years and embrace these players now, make them feel loved and support them 100%.

I've noticed that too.. Can spray an inch perfect 50 yarder but fumble a 5 yard pass.

I have been banging the drum for him to play on the left since he signed. I am glad he is settling in and showing just how good a player he is. Now we just need to get Lamela playing and we will be in for a treat.

Is it just me or does he ponce round like a little girl. He seems so weak and slow, never makes a tackle. It's like carrying a passenger when we don't have the ball. Can't he get a few tips from Dembele

He could do with watching some of VDV's performances for us because he has the ability to get to that level but doesn't seem to have the same kind of drive or determination yet. He's only 21 though and is still learning his trade so he has plenty of time to improve.

Eriksen for example is only a few months older than Tom Carroll who probably wouldn't get singled out if he made a few mistakes at this stage of his career.

I like him, needs to impose himself more and believe in himself, lots of ability, lots to like.

He's been really poor last couple games.

Then again, so has everyone else really.

Need to decide what his position is and let him play there for a few games. Behind the striker is where he should be in my opinion and not out on the wing.

Something like this -

Ade
Townsend - eriksen - lamela/Chadli/Lennon *shudder*

He does seem a bit weak defensively at times. However he is still very young and will improve.

Azza deserves to keep his spot? Based on what. He has been poor!

Eriksen is a quality player. Personally I don't want to see him out left. He has to start central where he can dictate our play. At only 21 he could become top, top class for us...

Yeah, I don't watch much Ajax so I don't know if this is right but I can't imagine he's spent much time defending on the left wing over there. Coleman got past him with ease but he's a much better player than he's given credit for.
