He's hitting so many powder puff shots lately it would be funny if I wasn't a spurs fan.

oh, remember when he used to be a threat from free kicks - yeah I think he last scored one 2 years ago?

He wasn't very good the first half of last season when later it emerged he was carrying an injury the whole time. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing was happening now.

“If you look at the number of players we had at the World Cup and showing who they are as players, it’s been a very successful thing,” Eriksen said during Tottenham’s pre-season tour of the US (via ESPN).

“We had nine players in the semis, which means of course that our team out here is different to what it would usually be. But the World Cup is definitely a good place to show that when you’re at Tottenham you can be a top player.”

Would love to see him sign a contract. I know there were rumours it was done a while ago, but given the state we're in you wonder if he was waiting until the window closed to take a long term view

Yeah. Almost more important than any signing is Eriksen getting a new deal. He’ll have one year left next summer, and we all know that means Levy will sell him.

Honestly I read these posts and it's like you think Levy doesn't even watch the football ley alone support Spurs...!

When a player gets to that length of contract they have all the power. No-one is going to let a player like Eriksen leave for free. If we can’t get him to sign this summer, he probably won’t.

What “state were in?”

Just because we haven’t signed anyone in this window yet doesn’t mean that our top players feel like we’re in disarray. That’s just fans wetting the bed because nothing new and shiny has been announced at this point.
