UEFA's webpage says that Eriksen is second in most km covered so far i CL. He ran 12,715 km in the game against Dortmund. Only Diawara from Napoli ran further (12,856 km)
Surprised by that, he was busy and never far from the action but I'd have thought one of the wing backs had further?

That doesn't surprise me. Erkisen as we know is a very clever player, continually looking for angles, constantly on the move has has such space awareness.

It's a feature of no10's and plamakers, they are always trying to find space between the lines and looking for gaps so they are constantly on the move, Ozil puts up similar running figures despite being known as lazy so the running stat is a bit disingenuous if I'm honest.

Fantastic that he has started this season on fire. He really is the brain of our attacking play and makes the offensive plays tick. He's turned into a top top class player.

That's not possible unless they are on drugs.

Clever player with good technique and a great pass. Reliable. not a match winner. Can start for any top 4 side.
Absolute daft, Eriksen is a massive match winner his butt loads of assits, goals and the fact he dictates 80% of our play. He's an ultimate match winner because god damn everything he does pretty much leads to us winnig.

Eriksen is world class. There. I've said it and stand by it.

Before he had dips in form that made him short of that, but now he's the complete package. Just a quality player. Has improved his awareness of space and first touch, and his work ethic is immense too.

He's been the best player in the EPL for 12 months. And will get better. He's constantly improving. He's better than Modric at his age and stage in career and that says all you need to know about Christian Eriksen.

I can't get my head around the fact that some of you have any negative comments about him, the man is integral to the way we play. I truly believe he's world class, a quieter Dennis Bergkamp if you will. If he goes, we're fucked.

Fuckin heed me people!!!!

Now holds the record alone as the dane with most goals scored in the Premier League,
left Bendtner behind him with his goal against West Ham.

I wonder why the other Player Watch thread on him locked??

Team news says he is sick and didn't even travel for tomorrow's CL game against APOEL. Disappointing.
