Stats can be used in many ways to determine any argument that you are trying to make. Thats part of the fun at looking at stats for me! However, Eriksen hasn't been at his wonderful best this season, but I still think he is a tremendous player and arguably our best.

Poch does things completely differently to what we have had before, even down to training etc. Some players take longer to adapt than other. Eriksen still has everything he needs to be a fantastic talent in this league imo, but hopefully he adapts sooner rather than later.

It's definitely spursy. I'd bet if you went to the first match thread with Eriksen playing everyone is saying "finally, someone who takes a good corner".

I want but I don't expect every player to be able to press. E.g I think that is why Chelsea sold mata.

I have to say I didn't think he was capable of that level of application and work off the ball, coupled with some real tenacity at times. Compare it to other games, even such as the first half last week against Hull where he was really poor with his off the ball work, and the difference was amazing.

The challenge for him, and others, now is to repeat it, and arguably now the pressure starts. We have seen what you are capable of in terms of hard work, we must see it on a consistent basis now though!

My concern wasn't his quality per se, we all know he's got that. It was his work ethic and getting to grips with the level of physical demand in this league.

I certainly didn't expect that today and you could see hoddle et al didn't either and were equally surprised.

I love being proved wrong if it's due to something beneficial to the team.

I'd gladly be wrong 24/7 if that were the case.

His performance today doesn't erase what's happened in the past, and as already said his talent was never in question. His application was good today, long may it continue.

I hope he can get some consistency going...... as well as the rest of the team.
