UEFA's webpage says that Eriksen is second in most km covered so far i CL. He ran 12,715 km in the game against Dortmund. Only Diawara from Napoli ran further (12,856 km)

I've heard it said by at least 1 of our players that Eriksen is by far the fittest player in the squad, really looks after himself diet wise etc, I think Moussa said it but can't recall for sure.

I believe that says more about his willingness and attitude than fitness (which obviously also is great). But really, it's desire and determination that sees a player run 12 km in one match. The physical side of things isn't that impressive. Any super-pro footballer CAN run 12 kilometres in one match, but those who stand out are those who have enough of a desire to actually put in a decent day's work.

He looks after his second chance of hair really well too, it's so bushy and full of life.

I'm tempted to visit wherever he went for my bonce as well.

His girlfriend is actually a hairdresser, if I recall correctly.

Wonder if she knew of the mythical place where his hair was restored?

It really is a masterpiece. Especially when you look at Rooney's manky one(s).

Will feel like such a breath of fresh air to see him back on Saturday after last night, as well as Alli.

I know he's been ill but at least he will have had a weeks rest too.

Seems very rare now when Eriksen doesn't play.

we need to make a chant for Eriksen to the tune of Arcade Fire's new song, Everything Now.

chorus could be changed to

I need it
(Eriksen now!) I want it
(Eriksen now!) I can't live without
(Eriksen now!) I can't live without
(Eriksen now!)
(Eriksen now!)
Eriksen now

and the intro piano tune could be sung with "da's"

Eriksen's song is one of the only player chants we have which is a bit original (apart from the mandatory Ozil reference), certainly no need to change it.

We need songs for Aurier, Trippier, Davies, Sanchez (was the old Ledley/Sol one used recently?), Winks, Son, Wanyama and Llorente.

Maybe even Sissoko if his form sticks!

The head coach of Denmarks national team, Åge Hareide, is visiting the Norwegian Champions League studio tonight. He was asked what he thinks of Eriksen's future, if he dreams of going to Barcelona.

He replied that Eriksen is a down to earth guy, for him being happy is more important than high wages and being a celebrity. Furthermore, he thought that Eriksen is very happy at Spurs, working with Poch, Dele and Kane, and didn't see any reason he should leave Tottenham.

Doesn't mean anything necessarily, but it's good to hear.

Eriksen has to really relax and play his natural game on the big stages if/when he does this he will really get recognised

Not sure what it is? He’s done this before and at Ayax this was also something levelled at him.

Does he lack belief? Maybe he’s too relaxed and lacks the killer instinct that say Alli has for example.

He’s certainly got the ability and he’s still a great player, but to reach say Modric’s level he has to grab big games by the scruff of the neck.

Thought he got better second half. This team squad will see more of these nights and Erisken will click

only good thing about his performance is that it will have scarred off Barca for the moment, still love him to bits

He was quiet tonight, but he’s had four intense games in two weeks with getting Denmark to the WC playoffs. Maybe just lacking a bit of of freshness.

He looked nervous to me in the early stages, maybe adrenaline? Settled as the game went on, he’ll be back on it on Sunday I’m sure.

If I was him I'd be devastated by what I produced in that game. What an occasion and he shat it.

Hopefully he puts it right in two weeks time and shows them what he can really do.
