Love Eriksen to bits, but did not look quite himself out there tonight... There was a moment in the 1st half after we have gone ahead when he led the counter and had he got his usually ice cool decision making right, there was a chance to make it 2-0.. fluffed his lines ultimately.. was slightly better 2nd half..

We have relied on Eriksen in many games to make things happen for us. Tonight, unusually he was pitched up against their main playmaker Luka Modric who, as we know exists in his own 'time and space continuum'. Not often bested but I will accept that tonight for Eriksen because all in all it worked for us;)

Eriksen didn't have his best game but put a massive shift in. Every time they got the ball he was doubling up with Verts at LB. amazing stamina.

This. He's always been one of our hardest working runners off the ball, and he got some vital blocks in last night.

If anything it was Winks who was "up against" Modric.

I think Eriksen needs help and we probably need to buy a player who can rotate with him to keep him mentally and physically...

Absolutely, the major plus is despite having a poor game on the ball, he still did a job and worked hard for the team.

Just lacked a little focus at key times last night; wasn't himself.

Not sure Barkley is creative enough

He was awful but everyone has bad games, Isco looked even worse and he is probably top 10 player in the world.

He wasn't awful or shit or whatever extremes people want to go to get their point across, he had an off night and was quiet it happens.

Eriksen is struggling a bit atm. Hopefully he can soon be back to his usual self. It really hurts us because we don’t have anyone who can back him up. It says a lot that even though he is struggling he is still the one who creates the best chances for us. Created the best one we had against United.

We are unfortunately very reliant on a few players, so we take a bigger hit when they have a dip in form or are injured.

Lets hope Eriksen can get back on track next game.

His form has dropped badly, this is when we really miss Lamela.

Lamela did start playing well for us before early part of last season but he seems to have become a twice as good player since his injury :)

If unsworth gets Everton job he will convince barkley to stay.
He won't get the Everton job and I think Barkley has made up his mind, I just hope he comes in January to take some strain off of Christian.

Eriksen will certainly benefit from Barkley being in this team. Barkley is a player who likes to break the lines and I feel he does it better than Dembele due to his acceleration, this will undoubtedly give Eriksen the space he has been struggling to find in recent weeks.

Is it me or have his performances gotten worse with Sissoko in the side? Perhaps Sissoko doesn't occupy enough attention from the opposition, allowing them to focus on Eriksen, whereas Dembele is so tough if he glides past his marker it pulls others out of position, thus freeing space for Eriksen.
