Scored his 48th goal for Tottenham today in his 199th game for the club

He’s now equalled the 'great' Darren Anderson’s goal record but reached that amount in 159 games less

What a fantastic Player Eriksen is. We are truly blessed at this time to be watching so many top footballers at the club

Why do you have to insult another player to compliment Eriksen? Could just say “Eriksen’s record is good, etc” but you have to have a little snide, pointless comment in there. Anderton was without doubt a great player.

Fergie was willing to send Giggs our way to get Anderton.
If only we knew at the time Anderton, a wonderful footballer, was so delicate.

To be fair, he didn’t mention Anderton.

His Instagram announces his missus and him are expecting their first child.

Probably that explains his recent slump in form perhaps?

Really hope he can pick up his form soon. On his best days he is unplayable and we can hardly lose..

A game changer on his day. A shadow on the pitch when he’s not. The chasm to become a KDB or a Barca regular is far too large for him I believe. The greats don’t have these major major dips in form. They might not score or assist, but they don’t just drop off the face of the planet.

Harsh? Over reacting?

Over-reacting but partially true, any great will have these dips if they are played and trained past exhaustion. Because Christian rarely sprints he evades major injury, but he looks like someone who has seized up when knackered, yet we keep on playing him through it.

Poch should have rested him completely in training after the Denmark play off, he had physical and emotional exhaustion. I do wonder if Eriksen said he was knackered and was trained/played anyway, or that perhaps the players are scared to tell Poch.

Tottenham's Christian Eriksen tells @TV3sportPL he is interested in renewing his contract with the London club. "I am happy to be at the club and have nothing negative to say about it [Tottenham] at all."

I know we all want new shiny signings but if Levy secures new contracts for Kane, Son, Eriksen, Dele, and Toby you'd have to call in an evac chopper for the flood of loads that will blow out of North London.
