So we're really debating about most famous athletes in the world bcs LeBron James decided to wear a shirt of a player we haven't even made a bid for?

Dortmund looking at Zaha apparently. Pulisic replacement...?

I can't see that as any more than newspaper bumpf - no way anyone outside the PL is willing to pay the inflated prices of PL players like that.

More like Dortmund to find another cheap player and turn them into another £80m+ fee

Is it just me that doesn't think he fits what we are looking for? Undoubted potential, but so far we're being told we're looking for a Dembele replacement, which he isn't, or a WF capable of playing CF, like Martial, which he also isn't.
It's a big outlay on a position we're not urgently looking to add.
LeBron or Pulisic?

sigh - this was not an attack on your manhood.

LeBron James wearing your shirt on Instagram is a pretty big deal - in terms of raising awareness among an audience that is not predisposed to know who you are. A lot more people know LeBron James than Christian Pulisic.

I forgot that James is a minority owner in Liverpool - I think they are both Nike athletes, and this would make more sense if there is a deal brewing to send Pulisic to Liverpool.

I'm 95% sure Pulisic will come to the Premier league at some point simply because of the exposure it has in America. Hardly anyone watches the German league. You could make a case for Liverpool due to Le Bron I guess and their American owners, or to Man United because they are the most popular and most followed, or to us because of the NFL connection maybe? Liverpool seems the most likely though.

He's on "60 Minutes" right now.

Pretty darn special player, only 19.

Would be a dream to have him in Lily White.

Level headed kid and parents. Leaving Germany will be difficult and expensive as he's absolutely adored in Dortmund. Going to be very interesting to see if anything develops with this over the summer.

He's a Utd supporter.. don't think playing for a Mourinho team would suit him.. Liverpool then who is he replacing Mane or Salah coz he ain't gonna move to be sat on bench..

Or... The World Cup is taking place - The USMNT didn't make the tournament, but Nike don't wont to miss an opportunity to promote US Soccer and using two of their Athletes is a good way to do it?...

Personally don't think it means anything... plenty of Athletes wear each others Jersey's. We're just picking up on this one more as we have been linked to Pulisic, and LeBron just signed for the Lakers, so it makes a lot of headlines.

They would just switch formations to play a front 4, so he'd probably play as a #10.
