Missed opportunity for Spurs.
I reckon he's the player in Europe that Herc mentioned who's 'agents were being difficult'
Missed opportunity for Spurs.
Part of me 'never wanted him'...cocked and loaded cheap shots at the American would irritate. Most of me would love him here. Would be great so see his progress week in week out. When I see BVB's 2nd goal and I consider the plodding MF we are likely to have I take a rather more Panglossian perspective on missing out on him.Missed opportunity for Spurs.
Well he is 19... so, yeah, he does not have a 5-year track record.Argument against is mainly lack of consistent output (only fair as has been levelled at Zaha) and also not being an ST option.
Playing out of his skin for a move maybe. Would be difficult as Utd and Liverpool have probably been keeping tabs even longer than us.

There’s a very strong case to be made that hes a better footballer than Zaha already, IMO.I would prefer him to Zaha, has way more potential and has a very good football brain for one so young, with proper coaching he will go to the very top, I just don’t see that from Zaha.
It makes a lot of sense. His age, his position (and the fact that he looks like he can grow to be a #10) and his marketability with the new stadium and NFL partnership.Still hold firm to my prediction he’ll be ours. Only worry about Liverpool with him.
Makes sense for us, but I’m afraid I don’t see it making as much sense for him.It makes a lot of sense. His age, his position (and the fact that he looks like he can grow to be a #10) and his marketability with the new stadium and NFL partnership.
Higher pay, most competitive league in the world, increased endorsement opportunities that come along with being the only American playing in the Premier League...seems like it makes sense.Makes sense for us, but I’m afraid I don’t see it making as much sense for him.

That said, you can definitely argue that he should stay at Dortmund another season.

He isn't coming here IMO.
WAAAAYYY out of our financials.
