are ccv and pulisic friends by any chance anyone know ?
I wouldn't think so - CCV grew up in England, Pulisic grew up in America.

I think they might have been called into a US squad together 1-time. CCV has two senior appearances, but I think Pulisic was missing from one of those appearances.

That said, both should be together for the upcoming friendlies - so a chance for CCV to talk up Spurs and Poch.

Just a quick search - CCV has 3 senior call-ups, 2 caps (November 2017 v. Portugal, and March 2018 v. Paraguay) - Pulisic was not in either team. CCV was called into camp in November 2016, but did not feature in the WCQs. But, Pulisic was in that team.

So, long story short, they probably have not crossed paths much at all.

"Yeah mate, you get to play for Ipswich!"

If I remember correctly, Pulisic trained with Spurs before moving to Dortmund. Perhaps he knew CCV and others from that period as well.

His commercial value for us could be insane, with the us market and stadium sponsorship.
Can see Levy getting moist.

Yeah, Spurs would instantly become the favorite club of any new premier league fans in the United States. Pulisic (sadly) is already probably the best US player ever. He'll have to keep it up for a few years but the bar is really low. Right now the competition for that title is really between Dempsey, Donovan, Tim Howard, and Friedel.

It's likely that in a year or two, if he progresses, Pulisic will be well out of our reach!
"If he progresses" being the key point. He's not going to do that on the Spurs bench IMO. Maybe if he plays out on loan, but Poch isn't exactly known for bringing those loan guys back into the fold. He would get plenty of playing time at BVB.

Pulisic is not as good as Moura and I don't think he will be even in a year or two (at the ripe old age of 21). But he could be way better by his mid 20s. If Moura in his current form was available during the winter transfer window, than Pulisic will be as well in a few years.

Disagree. He's already better than Moura in some ways and would get plenty of game time at Spurs. Certainly if Spurs got rid of Sissy and Lamela, for example. Plus, as footballer, he needs to get to the PL soon for commercial reasons. Without the WC this year, and with the Bundesliga not generally favored by American fans, his commercial appeal has plateaued. Getting to the PL would take his commercial value to another level...especially considering Dortmund look like they are regressing of late. Of course his commercial appeal should not overrule what's good to him as a footballer but he surely sees the advantages of playing in the PL for an American and he needs merely to find the right club. I don't know if Spurs is that club but I think he will be in England within a year.

When Spurs played in the Campions League matches Pulisic is the one player that I genuinely feared when he had the ball and ran at us, pace, fast feet and an eye for the killer pass. In some ways similar to Bale ?

Have watched many of his matches with the National team, obviously he’s our best player and isn’t surrounded with much right now. The thing that always sticks out to me with Pulisic is his ability to always pick out the best pass in every scenario. Very tough player, lots of heart. I think he’s perfect for the PL and our system but, I doubt we will be able to sign him.

How much would he realistically cost? I read some reports that he has a reasonable release clause in his contract, but really, I would be surprised if he didn't cost near 40/50 mil. As much as I rate him, if we were going to spend that sort of cash on another AM/WF I would prefer we went for Fekir who would be able to improve our starting line up from the get go. Pulisic will need time before he can make a impact for us, he still looks very raw. I would still be very happy to sign him, but really, he should probably stay at BVB and get another season starting under his belt.

If it was between Pulisic and Martial who would y’all prefer? Would love either really, but I think I would prefer Martial, as he is a little further down the line, and we know he will make an immediate impression. Haven’t seen a great deal of Pulisic, but I’m assuming he isn’t the finished product?

I'd take Pulisic every, single, day. I think he fits what Pochettino is looking for in a player completely. He's got a great work rate, he's versatile, he looks to have a real passion for the game and while I think Martial is a great talent, I think Pulisic has a bit of Eden Hazard potential. I'm also super biased being American.
