At Wembley he seemed to be the most likely BD player to cause us any concern, he gave our right hand side a tough time and looked quick and skillfull. I have nothing else to go on really as I’ve never watched out for him particularly, but I was impressed.

I wouldn't say far away, but hardly an immediate improvement. We're already fully stocked on wingers/am's - players of his equal. Would be long term planning if we go for him, and it could be a crucial one, it's not a given that we'll have guys like Eriksen and Dele for many years to come.

If he is a target for us this summer, I hope we don't try and drag out negotiations until the last minute.

Liverpool wrapped up the Fabinho deal within an hour of their interest going public, beating United and Arsenal to him.

Pulisic is on their radar too...

@HotspurRelated just watching CNN and they are interviewing Christian Pulisic and he just indicated he would be moving to the premier league “very shortly”.

No idea if this true or not.

Probably to Chelsea, in exchange for Batshuayi.

Wouldn’t mind Pulisic, but do we need him with Lucas already signed?

My knowledge extends to about the same as some others on here, he looked dangerous with a great blend of pace and skill against us but I haven’t seen terrribly much more.

I dunno, sometimes players just ‘get’ the Premier league style and adapt quicker than you expect. He certainly has the natural skills to suit the league, the other stuff I see mentioned about being raw and inconsistent can be very quickly improved if things go well

This guy is probably just taking the piss. Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else or a clip. His name has "chaos" in it ffs. He is causing it on SC as we speak.

Yeah but he's said he's just watched Pulisic say it himself on CNN, which means millions of people around the world will also be watching the same thing.

I know Twitter is full of thick fuckers like me, but surely someone isn't stupid enough to claim to have just seen something that millions of people will instantly know didn't fucking happen ?

I’ve probably watched every international match he’s played and whether he has a higher ceiling than Martial or Malcom I don’t know—but I can tell you he’s more than capable of carrying a team on his back when he needs to and making something out of nothing.

He has ridiculous vision for an 18 year old and his ability to make runs when paired up with Alli’s would be an absolute nightmare for a defensive line. He’s comfortable sitting deep (great on a press, hardly surprising for BVB player) and uses pace to and directional changes to bounce defenders twice his size with ease. He’s been dealt some horrible management last year between BVB’s latest rough patch and Bruce “tactics” Arena.

Here’s an article from senior US player and EPL defender Geoff Cameron that touches on how CP never gave less than 100%, despite abysmal management, and only missed the World Cup because the entire US organization let Pulisic down: https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us/articles/geoff-cameron-what-must-change-in-u-s-soccer

Game is on FoxSports; ESPN has a big football crew; NBC Sports covers the PL and would be all over news about a player the caliber of Pulisic, there are half-dozen "insiders" around the USMNT who would know what they eat for snacks - to say it would be highly unusual for CNN to break any news in this regard, would be a massive understatement.

Twellman is always a good bet to break anything regarding USMNT players.
