All PL sides have to play 4 fixtures over the festive period, one more than last year. The graph below show shows the numbers of hours between the first and last fixture. Leicester have been screwed whilst Arsenal have the most rest between all the sides. Incredibly City, Chelsea and Arsenal all sit at the top with the most rest between games.

Mourinho is going to whinge like crazy and Klopp has already started getting his excuses in.

No excuses for Wenger this year then?

Kind of levels out as they have to play Liverpool Chelsea home and wba palace away pretty nasty.
Ours has been very kind fixture wise.

Two home games and a London away game so virtually zero travelling, whereas we have trips to Burnley and Swansea with two days less to play the four games in.

Leicester V Liverpool will be an 8PM kick off on Boxing Day.

I think away fans need to start boycotting games like this where the TV companies are just taking the piss. Fair play to Liverpool who are going to supply coaches for their fans, but not sure how easy the Leicester fans who travel to the game will find getting home.

Depends where they live. And it’s Christmas, go for a pint in the City Centre, work it out later.

Trouble is if all the money comes in from TV deals then they probably don't care if only 200 away fans show up. As long as the ground isn't completely empty (which obviously looks bad on TV) then I don't think the PL are that bothered.

It would look awful on TV and the negative press it attracted would be a nightmare for the Premier League chiefs. Was it last year that they they backed down about playing games on Christmas Eve? I still think fans will go to the game though. Most people will just moan about it and go to the game as usual.

You're probably right about the negative press if the papers decided to run with that angle. But as for how it looks on TV I'm not so sure. Like I say it looks terrible if hardly anyone is there at all home&away, but if it's only the away fans I don't think it'd be that noticeable. The away allocation is, what, 10% of the stadium? So even if only a few hundred away fans turn up but it's still full of home fans then 27-28k fans in a 30k stadium will still look "full" on TV anyway so it won't matter.

I guess mostly on Boxing Day everyone has to drive as public transport is pretty non existent then

But it’s up north. Everyone lives 5 minutes walk from the stadium. I only live in Watford and that’s the case.

8pm KO Boxing Day night is complete bollocks and takes the proverbial out of them supporters.
Most neutrals will be half cut with a turkey leg in one hand and a stiff drink in the other whilst trying to construct the most un-pc question to cards against humanity...
