We will play Manchester City in the Carabao Cup Final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, 25 April.

City beat United 2-0 in this evening's Manchester derby in the second semi-final of the competition thanks to goals from John Stones and Fernandinho.

Son only has more goals against B. Dortmund and Southampton than City, if he is healthy in final we win this.

Quite pleased with facing Man City actually bearing in mind our record against them and the fact that if they qualify for the semi finals of the Champions League the first leg will be in April and the second leg in May (probably early May since the final is in that month also). That could working in our favour because they are obviously desperate for the CL title.

Also, I rather face 11 opponents than 12 which would have been the case with Man United.

I don't if this has been mentioned elsewhere on the forum, but the winners of the League Cup DONT get to a place in the Europa League next season - they get a place in the new third tier of European football - the UEFA Europa Conference League!
