Wow, he was a pedestrian judging by the report.
Fingers crossed.

The reports in the local papers this morning (before anyone knew who it was) say that he either stepped out in front of the lorry or jumped from a bridge into oncoming traffic.

Horrible, horrible news.....
The battle against depression is never-ending.

Very sad news. Always incredibly distressing when someone's depression gets so bad that they do something like this.

Thoughts with those who know him.

Awful. I hope he makes it and wasn't attempting suicide.

I saw the documentary about his fight with depression too and it was a real struggle for him. He seemed to be such a likeable guy and this is really sad news.

Sad news. Was actually starting to come around to his commentary for his Pleat like surrealisms.

All the best to him. We joke about some these people, but a few of them are probably genuinely decent.

Such a likeable guy. Really, really hope he pulls through and comes out of this okay. Depression really is horrible, a young, healthy guy like him shouldn't have to put up with this shit. Please pull through.

Hope he pulls through. Not the best commentator but seems like a nice guy Thoughts are with his wife and kids at this sad time.

I was definitely starting to warm to some of his bizarre jokes that he seemed to take genuine joy in telling. Hopefully there will be more to come.

Apparently the Police said that he may have 'fallen from above' :(

I think one of my favourite Clarke-isms is this:

"People often forget about Aaron Lennon. Maybe it's because he's small."

Shocking news, especially if he jumped.

I have a friend who suffers with depression and it's a crippling problem. I can only imagine how low he must have got, especially given that he has a wife and kids.

It's so sad that it has pushed him this far. Really hope he recovers and gets the help he needs.

Also, I feel for the driver of the vehicle that hit him, that is a horrific ordeal to go through.
