And the verdict, @Bus-Conductor ?

I'm going to plead the fifth. I haven't seen enough to have a firm opinion, £10m for a 21yo who made 9 starts in ligue1 last year is not exactly bargain basement but it's not a kings ransome either and he is a lively fucker who could bring something new, with potential.

Like I said, my limited first couple of glimpses suggest more Moses than Willian but that could be harsh as it's based on scant evidence.

Nope, that was made for Americans. Let's have that opinion, BC :)

Still think Aulas is going to try and string this in to the end.

Aulas talks big but he knows players come and go. When he says they don't have a price, they do. When he says they are not for sale, they are. What he always means is 'pay us and you can have our players'. Ligue 1 has been picked clean by the Prem this summer, but the clubs are great at developing players. Won't be a big loss if they sell N'Jie, they just want to be paid properly.

Not a world beater but he has raw pace. We need someone like that. Seeing how easy it is for opposition to reset themselves in defence is frustrating. Lennon MK2 but he can actually hit a football.

Isn't a Lennon who can hit a ball what we need.

@lequipe: Tottenham ne lâche pas Clinton Njie (OL) http://t.co/JFTg7GksVD http://t.co/vv0fkCt6mZ

After two offers rejected by Lyon, Tottenham climbed to € 13 million plus 3 bonus for Clinton Njie (21 years, under contract until 2019). This new proposal made it two days ago, has not been more successful since the leaders of the OL, hoping to at least 15 million net excluding bonuses, do not respond.

I imagine a Whatsapp message with two blue ticks showing it's been read but not replied to. DL sitting there fuming that Aulas isn't replying to his texts but has time to post things on twitter or talk to his mates on Facebook.

I just think Aulas is going to want a feeling of vengeance over the Lloris transfer one way or the other. Just strikes me as the spiteful type.

Aulas is 'that' guy who gives it the chat and claims he's slept with a thousand woman, but more often than not he's caught walking home alone to pull the end off it. All chat, no substance.

His off-ball movement seems to be better than lennon's, which is another thing we're crying out for. In that respect he reminds me a bit of Walcott actually (who also has a suspect first touch at times). At this stage not as good, nor will he be as productive but hopefully less injury prone (!) and with the potential to be as good if not better.
