Back at Spurs Lodge, our manager and captain took time out to reflect on Tuesday evening's events at White Hart Lane.

While delighted with the three points, the downside was of course Robbie Keane’s injury and Didier Zokora’s sending off. Along with Middlesbrough we have since been charged by the FA for players failing to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion. The club can confirm that it is reviewing the charge and has until December 21 to respond.

Manager Martin Jol said: “We’ve received the charge and we will look into it over the next few days. I believe the players were intent on protecting a fellow team-mate and I don’t agree with the charge.”

Captain Ledley King added: “A lot of the players were doing nothing, merely going over to calm the situation down. I know that might make things look worse than they are but no-one was in there to cause trouble, everyone was trying to sort it out.”

At the risk of sounding like I'm turning my back on the team, I think there should be a charge. There's not much worse in the game at present than half the sqaud running in to 'sort it out'. Its the ref's job, let him do it.

I understand the passion and protection of a team mate, but they should also be professional and conduct themselves so. Shame DZ got sent off, but he really didnt need to go running in like that.

I no its not about referee's, but they have a hard job and quite honetsly a thankless task. Best of luck to them, and good job we have strength in midfield.
