Hi guys

I got my commerative shirt, with gift box/certificate and before I put it on, I just wanted to find out - how many of us fans have tried it on as quickly as they could, and how many have kept it, unopened and kept it in the box, for whenever in the future?

Mine is in an air tight bin liner. Never worn, in the loft, in the box, in the protective plastic bag, covered by the Spurs tissue 125 paper, price tags etc, never to be opened by me, will be passed on to my next generation.

Cheers I thought there must be at least one!

But then it cost 60 quid (inc. postage) and it seems a bit silly to _not_ wear it. But, it is. Not. Oh, I don't know!

it aint limited edition though. there were thousands of people wearing it at the 125 game and loads more people buying it in the shop. there is no real shortage of them. i say wear it. i'm wearing mine. you can still buy it on the website. the chocolate one last season will be a collectors item, but there are millions of this one available. it won't be worth the 60 quid you spent on it in a few years.

the brown one will indeed be a collectors item & it's already as rare as hens teeth

Exactly. They are still going for stupid amounts on Ebay. The commerative shirt won't be worth much in a few seasons time because nearly every Spurs fan that wants one will have one.

I think a lot of people are failing to realise that these shirts aren't limited edition likes the brown shirt from last season. Puma will be mass-producing the commerative shirt until the end of the season or demand for it runs out. Mine was one of the first batches of shirts to arrive and according to my certificate I'm about 18197 so there is at least 30,000 out there.

I have the Brown one with King on the back. The rarity of the shirt coupled with the rare appearance of the player should make it rather collectable.

:eh: Who? I can't remember Spurs having a player called King within the last two seasons.

Bought 2 - 1 to wear and one to keep/sell at a later date.

on a side note - has anyone washed the shirt? The dye has started to run from the Puma badge....
