At first, the story trotted out was that he was instrumental in the signings of Henry, Toure, Eboue and awhole host of others. Recently, it has emerged he really only contributed to the discovery of one player, who is on the fringes of the Arsenal squad - I've forgotten who.

I don't think he's deliberately sabotaging us. That's just silly. If that sort of thing was prevalent in football, then the whole thing would fall apart.

And he wasn't responsible for the result today. We played well today; it's just that everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

However, that said, I'm yet to be convinced by Comolli in particular and the concept of the DoF position in English football in general. Ultimately, he is now living on borrowed time. If Ramos fails to deliver, then Comolli is out.

Oh, so you've seen a lot out of Taarabt, have you? I'm not granting your premise that the others are all crap, and I don't think Taraabt is (or is going to be) crap, but that's a ridiculous statement.

I also love the players that get mentioned every time this is brought up - it really highlights the element of xenophobia that comes into this.

We've also bought Chimbonda, Bale, Malbranque, Berbatov, Bent, Alnwick, and plenty of others during Commoli's term as DoF.

Zokora's been pretty good for us this season.
I can understand some people are upset at losing to Birmingham but really do you think a professional person is going to go to work and make his employers fail?
Thats simply one of the silliest things posted here yet,And i've read some drivel.

There's no talking and working as a unit in our defensive work at the moment Juande is trying to sort that out,He hasn't been helped by the fact that Dawson has forgotten how to defend and still chases people out of defence with a ball like a 16 yr old and Kaboul is suffering a lack of confidence,
What with the injuries the team has had in the central defence area,
It's gonna take time so lets try and be supportive of the squad while they do what they can and hope they sort out the problems.

Commoli seems to look to the French league for a lot of his signings. It seems to me that his reocrd there has been very poor and he's paid over the odds for the following players:

Zokora - 7m
Kaboul - 8m
Assou-Ekkoto - 3m
Taarabt - 2m
Dervitte - 1m

It looks even worse when you compare it to Wenger, who has signed the following players from the French league over a similar period to a much greater degree of success:

Sagna - 6m
Adebayor - 7m
Diaby - 3m
Flamini - free

Atr the end of the day commolli believed Zokora was a better player than carrick so that just proves how dreadful a DoF he is.

The fact is, we lost today because players are low on confidence and have yet to be organised in a way that makes us hard to score against but hard to defend against. Even our best player in Berbatov had an absolute stinker.

Comolli CAN ABSOLUTELY be blamed to an extent. He is the man in charge of transfers and his last dealings were in my opinion was a load of rubbish (Bale exception) He has to realise that youth is not the answer. He seems to think we're Arsenal. Well guess what Comolli. WE ARN'T. We can't do the same thing with youth as they have done, because they sign proven world beaters when they are 14 years old!!!! Comolli needs to get his head down and start finding some decent experience.
