Oh well the death of football as we know it continues. Will only be 20 or so elite franchises in a couple of decades all the other clubs will become irrelevant. Like NFL but global.

Seeing such a crazy transfer fee is a obvious sign of how sick the game has become. Football has lost its spirit and charm. I hope those oligarch teams goes under.
And how can PSG by-pass FFP with such a deal?

Absolutely pathetic.
Football is on a different planet to the rest of the world, it reminds me of the nasty, bitchy, back stabbing arsehole who would sell his own granny for a few pieces of silver that has frequented every office I've ever worked in.

It's just adding to the fact that the game I love is turning into a shambles. There has to be a way of stopping this, it's ridiculous! About time someone actually made a ruling and enforced it!

The problem is that football is one of the most corrupt industries on the planet and everyone is on the take. Soon enough, all teams below the very top 5 leagues will suffer and the game will die out, or worse, will split and create their own "Super League"

He wanted to move because PSG are 'ambitious'.

No mention of the £100,000 per day salary.

So he PAID to get out of BARCELONA, to join, I'm sorry, PSG?
It's like giving up driving F1 for McLaren in an attempt at winning the Go-Karting championship with Ferrari.

He can take a 10 minute shit and will earn 100k.

If he does it at the club he also saves on toilet paper. Win win.

It's not at all like the NFL. The NFL has 32 franchises. All of them are rich and all of them have the opportunity to be relevant. The most clever teams always win in the NFL. Not the biggest or the richest. Money will get you nowhere in that league.

Don't the worst teams from the previous season get the best/first draft call to level the playing field?

Ah Fuck em. It's not the death of football, just the further perversion of commercialism disguising itself as sporting success. I doubt I'll ever watch a PSG match, and I doubt they'll win the CL still.

Meanwhile I'll still enjoy S****horpe starting their season against Wimbledon this Saturday.
