I do find it utterly strange that you couldnt just play the second set of games on the Wednesday rather than on the Tuesday - that way there is a 72 hour window and teams would be used to that. 48 hrs is pretty ridiculous. I know why theyre doing it - its for the TV and particularly Amazon as its a bank holiday and more people would watch it but people would still watch the games on the wednesday evening

I agree it’s about the money but….
They couldn’t come up with a schedule to stop this hmmm it honestly can’t be that hard you play a group of the non playing in Europe teams together in one bracket and use them for Tuesday games they can skip the akward 48 hour games by taking out the odd game and play later in the year midweek
