It appears that the Croatian fans have taken to the guy who sung the national anthem before the game. They think he is a lucky omen due to the fact he sung the wrong words to the anthem.


He should have sung 'Mila kuda si plania' (which roughly means 'You know my dear how we love your mountains'). But he instead sang 'Mila kura si planina' which can be interpreted as 'My dear, my penis is a mountain.'

In fact, so hilarious I can't believe it's true. But given my Croatian is non-existent, so I can't tell one way or the other, I'll settle for the belly laugh and what is probably a fantastic urban myth!!!
