He lost the ball too many times, inlcuding twice at the edge of penalty box when he had enough time to control the pass.
I was asking why you said it was only a matter of time before he had such a game. Do you think Kane is having a better game than him?

Not surprised by the first half, say what you like about Hodgson but his teams are usually well drilled and they are pressing well and at the right times. I don't think we're playing badly (overall).

It's one of those where they sit back and there's virtually no space.

My one annoyance is how often Davies has been given the ball in space on the left wing and Moura has been inside heavily marked. Need to get the ball to Moura in space !

It's the usual issue with a team trying to prevent us from playing and succeeding most of the time. I certainly don't agree with the notion that Palace have been more threatening. Despite having a healthy amount of pressure and possession in the first half hour, they've created virtually nothing except set pieces.

As the half developed, we started to play more threatening football and we've clearly been the better side in footballing terms. But Sakho has been excellent and we've wasted the few chances we have created against a Hodgson-marshalled defence.

I don't think we've played badly at all: we've been medium-medium. Palace have played well in 5 and 10 minute passages and then we've let our quality dominate otherwise, but without unlocking the usual 10 man defence.

It needs patience and a bit of real quality. Usually we find it in these frustrating matches, sometimes we don't
Overall we have been the better team and I expect us to win it

Bring Winks on in that central midfield and we win. I don’t think Sissoko an wanyama have been bad. He just offers more.
But he's played 3-4 games in a row. Pochettino has been going on all week about rotating and resting players.

Because all players have bad games eventually, he won't carry us in every game. And as for the second question I'd say that both were equally bad. Lamela had one great pass and Kane one good shot at the goal.

Why the hell does this game feel like its being played at a friendly pace when we are in possesion?
