Team Form Palace LLDLL ______ Spurs DLWWW ( All Competitions)

Palace have lost all their last 6 EPL games against us scoring just across those matches. Against only two teams have we had a longer EPL winning run than against Palace (6 wins) and that is 7 against Man City between (2004 and 2007) and Swansea City between (2012 and 2015) . Palace have never lost 7 consecutive top-flight matches against an opponent as they also lost 6 in a row against Arsenal between 2005 and 2015. 25 of the last 26 goals scored in EPL between us and Palace have been netted in the 2nd half, there has been one 1st half goal scored in the last 14 meetings.

We have won our last five EPL London derbies - we last had a longer such run in the top flight between October 1950 and August 1951 (8 in a row). We have won more away EPL games in 2018 than any other side (11). Only once have we won more top flight away games in a single calendar year (17 in 1960). Poch has won 8 EPL games against Crystal palace - against no side has he won more (also 8 against Swansea).

Kane has scored 24 goals in 37 games in London derbies in the EPL, at a ratio of 0.65 per game - of players to play in a minimum of 5, only Thierry Henry (43 in 59, 0.73) has a better ratio. Only Teddy Sheringham (32) has scored more EPL goals in London derbies for us than Kane (24). Kane is joint - second on the list, alongside Defoe who also netted 24 times.

Yet another London Derby. With two more coming up next in the PL.

I hope that we take this one seriously .

Get those three points without any arse flapping, dodgy back passes or fooling about.

Palace will be well up for this. COYLWs

I feel we are starting to get going the last few games. Creating more chances and starting to have a bit more urgency. Palace games recently, although we have won 6 on the trot, have been a hard watch and all pretty close. Think this may be similar. Just hope we can avoid the defensive brain farts we have been seeing.

I have been so negative or have had such a negative out look this season but know after the last two games I think we will have a great rest of the season, i see this one us winning by 2 goals.

BTW if he did want to move to us in Summer you can guarantee Zaha has a stormer. Literally the only player I'm concerned about.

One of those weird bogey, but not quite bogey teams we have. Never easy and always frustrating against them, but we typically end up getting over the line.... Just.

Would be nice to control things for once and have a nice comfortable win. Im positive because weve been playing a lot better recently but nobody can deny we've been lucky too. I just hope our luck doesn't run out here.

No silly leg waving in our box please. Palace will definitely be looking for Zaha to get in the box and perform his trickery, no need to give old Moss chops the opportunity to award them a penalty.

I say we win, but even for his mediocre scoring and assist record, Zaha should be considered a real threat, and one that needs nullifying, hopefully by means of cutting off his supply line.

Certainly don't want to see us set up our defensive line too far up the pitch. Will leave too much room for Zaha and Townsend to utilise their pace.

Minimise the space and let them try and play through us as opposed to through balls over the top with loads of space to run into.

Anything but a win will make the international break even more depressing than it already is.
POCH TO REST PLAYERS? FROM SKY SPORTS FAKE NEWS
Mauricio Pochettino may rest Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen for Tottenham's trip to Crystal Palace in this evening's late kick-off at Selhurst Park.
Alli and Eriksen have had injuries this season - and both are likely to feature for England and Denmark respectively in upcoming international matches.
Pochettino said: "It was a tough game against PSV in the Champions League. Then they are going to move to the national team I think. It will be tough to play two games.
"That is why we need to take care and send them really fresh. That is why we are thinking if they are going to play or not against Palace."

Can’t see this being anything but a low scoring game. No more than two goals in it anyway.
