Bang out of form and 2 points off the top.

We always start to play better as we approach December.

It's all good.

This is why you always have to get behind a player who wears the shirt. The slagging off of Sissoko remains one of the most embarassing things I have seen from our "fans" in recent years.

Unless a player openly disrespects the club he deserves our support. And that applies to Sissoko as much as the latest hate figures like Trippier, Dier, Davies and Llorente.
i have a qustion for a friend, can you not rate a spurs player as a footballer, but still support them as a yido?

We've not dominated games like in previous seasons but getting 7/8 wins away when half our team is injured/off form is ridiculously good. I don't think this is sustainable if we keep playing like this as we've definitely ridden our luck, but if we can up our game and start playing our best we're gonna be serious contenders.

Why is the mic on BT Sport a big piece of mic-shaped cardboard stuck on to a normal mic? Did it not look "sports mic" enough? The fuck is that about?

look at it

I want to be diplomatic, I don't dislike Aurier as a player and I don't have any agenda against him or anything, I actually thought he played pretty well today, but in lack of a better way to put it, if you're going to fight about him I do think his crossing ability is the wrong hill to die on.

Fine, all I'm saying is that he hit 2 very decent balls in in the first half which is a world away from not being able to cross which is BS, fine if you want to be diplomatic and objective but assess his game as a whole, unfortunately certain players have stigmas which you just proved and whenever it gets proved wrong it gets overlooked because of said narrative.

He's nowhere near as good as Trippier and it's an area that needs working on but if you want to be diplomatic at least try and recognise when he's hit a good ball in the box.

Maybe, he gave the rating because he didn't think much of the post.

There's a disagree rating, as you all know. Spam is irrelevant, this is not.

(I don't think a lot of an awful lot of people's posts and I'm not dishing out spams and dislikes.)

After a tight win, it's still joyless posts charged with agenda. It's all a bit sad tbh.

I believe that too many people "rate" a player based on their short term form. Look how many people are currently slagging off Kane for going missing in games.

Sure, I do it all the time. But that means (a) not taking gratuitous opportunities to post "oh fuck, Sissoko" when the team is posted every week, (b) not hunting down every petty error he makes and making a one-line, content-free post to moan about it, (c) not ignoring all the subtle aspects of his game, such as strength, positioning and the ability to run the ball out when we're under pressure and (d) not filling lots of irrelevant threads with unnecessary and irrelevant "jokes" based on his alleged incompetence.

No one wants to ban criticism. I'm absolutely scathing about players on numerous occasions, when they do deeply stupid or incompetent things, but I stick to criticising what they've actually done, as opposed to making assumptions about what they "are", and I don't just look for pointless opportunities to post zero-content one-liners that solely exist to diss the player - and to influence other people to diss the player, by creating a climate of contempt.

People need to read points a to d over and over again.
