I can't see us signing a 34 year old. The only way it could be logical is if the transfer fee is minimal and Pochettino thinks one of our academy RBs is a year away from being ready for regular first team football.

My guess is that Poch is content with Trippier as our best/main RB, but will want someone decent to rotate him with...IF Walker leaves.

I don't suppose we have a cat in hell's chance of signing him but he'd be a fantastic option. Still incredibly fit and has said he'd like a go in the EPL. Terrific to have him mentoring Trippier and KWP and is maybe the type of old hand that we could do with from time to time. Like an Edgar Davids deal. By the time he's done, KWP will either have made the grade or not. Who better for him to learn from.

he would learn a lot more off off Alves than he would Walker

Isn't he taking Juventus to task for sky high wages? Can't see how we'd be in for that.

Dani Alves has left Juventus after agreeing to terminate his contract....

Free Agent now...will will probs end up at City, but if they wanna shell out 50mill on walker and we can bring in Alves for nothing...happy days
