Isn’t it as simple as the permanent deal is signed after the management contract expires?

I'd have thought that the clubs, the player and his representatives would all need to sign a contract at the start of the deal and by signing that initial contract it would entitle the agent to his share. I could be wrong, but it seems strange that someone who deals with contracts for a living would do all the work to make something happen, but then not insert a clause to make sure they are paid for their work.

He wont sign a contract. He'd still be contracted and paid by madrid during the loan.

Tbh i have no idea how it would work or what's happening.

Think he'll be a pro but doubt he'll sign a new contract.
He could get a £50m signing on fee next summer. Probably more than he's earned in his entire career so far and a big contract.
I would have thought security of a contract would be quite important to most players, injuries etc

There is a risk. He might get a bad injury. But it's up to him if he wants to risk it.

Hopefully he thinks, they had their chance i'll commit to spurs (might even get a signing on bonus with us). Not a great position for us though.

I think this will bwEcome more common, we wil see shorter contracts lower transfer fees bigger signing on fees for the players

He'd need to sign an agreement with his current club to go on loan and have his registration switched to a different team. He'd need to sign something agreeing to abide by the rules of the new club, etc. just like any new signing would.
If the clubs are agreeing a future fee then I don't see how the agent isn't involved in that deal.

He wouldn't get £50M. It doesn't make sense for a club to pay that sort of money and massive wages. I think Ramsey got around £9M for signing on with Juventus which is obviously still a lot of money. He'd definitely get much higher wages though.

Joe cole got £6m signing on fee when he joined liverpool on a free. It was a long time ago he was older and transfer fees were nowhere near what they are today. We were asking for £150m for eriksen last year (allegedly). Whatever his signing fee it will be big if he's on a free.
Might be smaller fee and massive wages. But he would earn a fortune (which was my point).

Yeah, he'd make a lot of money if he went on a free.

Just as an aside I had a look at Modric's wages earlier and apparently he's only on £180K a week. I wonder how much we've offered Eriksen to stay and how it compares to what he'd get at Real if he went now.

But do we really see Lo Celso coming in if Eriksen stays?
I do. ITK seems to suggest we are planning on switching formation to a midfield 3. Lo Celso seems to be viewed as a CM option of the two due to his mix of creativity and bite which would free Eriksen to return back to his favored position - AM.
Ndombele Winks Lo Celso
Eriksen
Kane Son
would be lethal.
I truly think Ceballos is the one that is dependent on Eriksen.

I still don't get this. I just don't think the way Poch works means there is room for a player who isn't fully committed to the cause.

I'll be massively surprised if there it isn't a loan-to-buy deal.
I think the expression used was that we won't fatten someone else's cow. Especially with an international player coming from overseas that could take six months to settle into our system and different culture outside of the club.

it doesn't make sense. As I understand he will be fighting for the spot with Winks. Poch promised Ceballos playing 40 matches and he will be more important that our homegrown player which signed 4 contract extensions in 3 years...

If Winks plays at the base of our midfield as he did last season, there is 0 chance him and DC will be in any sort of competition. Going by our midfield last season, he'll be fighting for Eriksen/Dele's places (more advanced LCM/#10)

Can’t think of any of the top but haven’t there been cases where a loan signing joined the club they were loaned to even though the was no option
