Wouldn’t be surprised if this Pepe guy is just maximising traffic from spurs fans that he’s got from the Lo Celso deal

JJ responded saying tickle me??

Glad I’m not the only one who hasn’t got a scooby what that means. Should I be upset, pleased, surprised?

I don’t know what to think as I’ve never heard of this geezer anyway :D.

Does this Pepe guy work for MundoDeportivo or is this a separate report now?

Not being a twitter expert, is that emoji usually there when jj is involved? If not then it suggests the report is a lie. If it is usually there then his reply suggests it’s not a lie and the poster who mentioned tickle me Olmo was correct and it’s JJ’s way of saying this story has legs.

When things come out of nowhere and we are told that a deal is close, it’s normally a good sign!

This lad sounds an exciting prospect and we are in desperate need for a new creative wide player within a bit of pace. If we get GLC and Ceballos too, then we are pretty much set in attack.

It's the emoji he's used throughout this window to rubbish any nonsense links, so the guy sent it to him asking if the Olmo story is rubbish. Obviously JJ just played it off so take it as whatever you will

Tottenham negotiates the signing of Dani Olmo and then goes to Lo Celso The London club, close to closing the transfer of the U21 international Dinamo Zagreb for 25 million euros; the offer for the Argentine Betis rises to 68 million AMP PHOTO: EFE JORDI SANTAMARÍA Updated 05/07/2019 00:16 The Tottenham will be one of the great animators of this market of signings in summer, after being for three windows without making additions. A couple of days ago the club chaired by Daniel Levy announced the signing of French midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, for more than 70 million euros, while approached positions with Real Betis for the transfer of Giovani Lo Celso, which already It has raised its initial offer to 68 million euros, close to 75 required by Betis to let the Argentine go. Before specifying the signing of Lo Celso, however, Tottenham certainly close the end and midfielder Dani Olmo, who last Sunday was proclaimed European champion under 21 with Spain and for which the Spurs are offering 25 million euros to Dinamo de Zagreb, club with two years remaining on the contract. Negotiations with the Croatian club and Juanma Lopez, representative of the player, have advanced significantly in the last hours and are close to conclude satisfactorily. Lo Celso, meanwhile, is still in Brazil with Argentina to play on Saturday for the third and fourth place in the Copa América against Chile, so no news about their future is foreseen, at least, until next week. The agency of the Israeli Pini Zahavi - who brought Neymar to PSG - is intermediating between Tottenham and Real Betis to try to reach an agreement, which between fixed and variable will surely go over 70 million euros, because for less the club is ready to let out the Argentine, an express request from Mauricio Pochettino that Daniel Levy intends to attend and for which he has been negotiating with Betis for some time, which stands firm in its position of not accepting offers that do not go over 75 million of euros

Pepe Elias writes about Betis for Mundo Deportivo. My guess is he got the Olmo information from this article or someone at Mundo tipped him off it was coming out, as previously noted it’d be a bit odd for him to know about us and Olmo.

On the latest Bleacher Report (football) podcast one of the journalists mentioned him and wondered why there wasn't any transfer rumours about him.

After watching the vid, I’m really excited. I hope we sign this lad.

The way its going, we might have the youngest side in the PL next season.
