Confession: I started this thread so I could post this video

He seems like a great character, I would love to have him on the squad.

Great Guy, comes across as a decent human being, who doesn't take himself seriously {as a star},all round nice guy.

I like him. Good work ethic, positioning is good. He's done it in England so should offer more than Soldado. If we were to get him and go two up top at any point, he and Kane have played together before.

If we can get him, Wimmer (if he's good, never seen him play) Trippier, Schneiderlin (unlikely?), and a pacy winger - I'd be happy enough with incomings.

A club in our position and with such a desperate need for competition in the forward line I'd be staggered if we weren't seriously in for Ings - certainly would have Levy's seal of approval!

Makes an awful lot of sense to me.

Yeah I can see why this would make sense. A forward who will put a shift in, do the hard work and so will help us put into place how Poch wants us to play and is probably acceptant that he's moving up a level and he will have to work for a place in the team. Even if he wasn't scoring at least a) he'd be making a nuisance of himself and b) he will have cost a pittance. Not to mention c) we are starting from such a low base when it comes to the contribution from strikers not called Kane.

Exactly this.

Agreed.

Having said that, the same rationale applies to Liverpool and to a lesser extent United.

Haven't seen much of this guy.

11 goals for the year and they want 25mill for him ?

What am I missing ?

Is he a lone striker or an AM ?

Where the hell did you get 25m from?

He's out of contract and can be signed for free, with some compensation due to Burnley for training him.
