On the documentary when he went into the office and confronted JM I was cringing and still think it was the wrong way to go about things and he has shot himself. Good luck to him though, but I wish he had knuckled down and fought his way back instead of that confrontation.

I actually had sympathy for him in that situation. He was suddenly picked in really tough games, obviously struggled and was then discarded, while other players where continuously selected despite playing really badly and he wanted an explanation but wasn't given one. And from that more people piled on to the narrative of him being deluded/disruptive/having a bad attitude? I can see how that's incredibly frustrating. He was much better than Davies at the time

Really gutted how it ended at Spurs for him. Was part of the best full back partnership for us I’ve ever seen he and Walker were simply brilliant at times.

When he scored that goal I thought he should retire then and there. He went on to be an integral part of one of our best teams ever. Best of luck Danny whatever the future holds for you.

Was lucky enough to walk out with the team as a mascot for Danny’s debut against the scum, even then, he was class taking the time with everyone in the tunnel. I was paired up with Tom Huddlestone ?
