I did not say they were after him - it were the newspaoers/sites who's reporrted the "interest".
Thus said, Jose hasn't exactly been thrilled by Shaw's performances.

These two bits.

I don't think we should find someone better. Rose is suited to the team and has been one of the most improved and best performing players in the league, not just the team. The one player I think is better is Kurzawa at PSG but a) he's not gonna come, is he and b) why sell someone who fits in to the team and buy someone who then needs time to settle... pricetag doesn't equal success. I'd rather have the player we've got.

There's probably not another LB under £45m available that would do a job as good as or better than Rose. Easy as.
