What pisses me off about the money thing is everyone of our first 11 can make a case for being paid more which would obviously raise our wage bill to unsustainable levels before the stadium is built. There is a reason why we have the 6th largest income and therefore have the 6th largest wage bill, it's really not that hard to understand. All these players will get there pay day if they just wait for a season or more. They need to understand the infrustructure of the club is still europa league levels, that's why we are building a new stadium so our revenue streams match the current level of the team. I really don't think being patient and keeping your mouth shut for 1 season is too much to ask. Especially when the club has nurtured you from 17 and given you pay rise after pay rise, even when the opportunity was there to pack you off to Sunderland where your career would have likely petered out. It's just fucking disrespectful on every level the way he is acting.

I'm sorry but he's a professional footballer who gets paid a fuckton to play football well, who gives a fuck if people were laughing at him for being shit (he was)

Imagine having such a big ego that even when you're earning top doller playing a game millions love, you still hold a grudge about someone laughing at you 3 years ago. Jesus Christ

Also the irony in accepting and believing all the praise you get to the point where you believe you're worth more than 65,000 a week but then not taking any criticism. You have to take both criticism and praise Danny boy

He should be reading Spurs Community, not Twatter. SC has been a very pro-Rose community since 2014. I guess it doesn't fit his narrative of under-paid, under-appreciated, under-played.

To be fair he did say the fans have been great the last 3 years. He's just hanging into that poorish 2013/14 season. I would've thought he'd let that go by now but clearly he's got a chip in his shoulder.

If this story has any credibility then we all know how Poch will react to it and I would suggest it may be swiftly and mercilessly....the window is still open. I just find it bizarre that the player is returning from injury..not currently having a blinding spell and trying to force the manager's hand into giving him a massive wage hike. If he has said all this then it is totally mistimed and he's been badly advised by his agent.

The guy I got the ITK from who had spoken to Rose personally a few weeks back said 4-5 of the team feel unhappy
I'd reckon Dele, Dier, Toby, Rose, and Hugo. Sadly, im not even sure Kane making noises would make the majority of this fan base and Levy get their heads of the sand.

2 days until our first game and we have aigned no one. No fit right back. Dont look close to anyone besides the Saints 4th keeper who split time starting on loan last last year at Rayo Vallecano from the Mid to bottom table from Spain 2nd division. But yes. Lets all rip on Danny and completely negate the aubstance of anything he said. I'm sure Levy is pleased with you all.

I'm not defending that Rose gave this interview, but I'm not suprised something like this happened. This was bound to happen when you have a director that turns every penny in every deal. If I played for us, I would also have the same thoughts as Rose (not all of them). We've sold players for 70m and we also have a lot of money from the tv-deal and from the prize money, and still no signings. There's only a couple of days until we play our first competetive game of the season, and the squad is weaker than last season. I would also question our ambition. I understand some of his comments, but I don't undrstand why he had to give an interview and make it public.

Yes, indeed. Clearly you are right, because it seems to have clouded his judgment. Not about going public or not necessarily, but about what to say or not. If you are going to use the media, you got to know how to do it. It's not a good place to show off frustration. It's bugging me, it's the same as with Sissoko. It's great that they have gotten this exclusive, prime attention over the summer. It's a travesty that they didn't put it to good use.

You reckon.... This doesnt make the goats info correct either. In fact there was a lot of contradictory ITK straight after that

Totally agree about Rose behaving disrespectfully and not keeping his opinions private, but surely you can't expects players to think deeply about revenues, stadium finance etc?

They've seen the market as it is, seen the money circulating around the PL and just care about winning trophies. They know we are on the cusp of something and want to see us push on.

In all honesty they are not too bothered about stadiums and they certainly don't care about wage/turnover ratio, debt and lower interest payments.

If this all goes to shit now yes levy must be blamed, but also the players

They had a chance to create something a la class of 92 and they are in danger of fucking it up in pursuit of money and easy 'glory'

To be fair though, the class of 92 got paid the going rate.

It's not like the press have just taken a couple of sentences out of context and twist it like they usually do. He's given them a small books worth of stuff. All that extra shit about Wembley and even Barkley (which was positive I guess) there's just no need. Proper SC rant he's given the ****.

Actually gutted. I had some proper rants on here about Walker but I accepted in the end as it was clear that we played a big part in allowing him to leave which ultimately I'm ok with as Poch is the man but this shit with Rose hurts.

They don't but Daniel Levy has to and that's why he can't just keep giving them all £150,000+ for wages.
