Pretty obvious this is just due to his interview comments that were misconstrued.

One of the most telling comments from Rose in the interview though is when Rose refers to the club he states "us". That's typically a pretty telling sign of where a player's head is at.

The boy has just had an operation, I'm not sure I'm right in thinking that the club pay for surgery but if that is the case there is no way Spurs would've sanctioned it if he had any intention in leaving. Same goes with Lamela.

Well if his operation is not a success, they can sell him for parts, at least they'll get a few quid back.

Rose has had his head turned. He has rightly been awarded the plaudits for the last couple of seasons and maybe he's seeking the opportunity to move on and make more moneys whilst his stock is high

I am a long time lurker on this forum and would never claim to be "ITK" but today I've spoken to a mate of mine that knows Danny Rose's dad, and says he's definitely leaving and it will be to Manchester. The only thing not decided will be which club. Passed on in good faith. And from a personal point of view I'll be gutted if he goes, same with Kyle, but if being at the club right now in the position that we're in isn't enough then it's all about the money. In which case, see ya later boys.

Surely Danny's father is a bit old to play full back for City or United.

I'm sure his Dad is just giving out information like this.

JJ did already respond on Twitter to someone asking about Rose moving.

He said "No?"

Well if we're sticking to MoPo's "we'll only sell players we want to sell" mantra then Danny's dad (if that is his real name ;) ) may well be disappointed...

I don't want Rose to leave but if this is true it's not the end of the world. Prior to his injury and Walker's 'issues' we were all raving about how they were pivotal to our success. Granted Davies is limited and Trippier lacks Walkers pace but we've done no worse if not better without both Rose and Walker. You're talking the best part of £100-120m if they're both sold.
