To the tune of "She'll be coming round the mountain"

Went to Tottenham, Danny Rose said 'Who are you?'

He knew Ross but didn't know the other two!

Then he went on Google,
Realised Levy's not so frugal

We've got Barkley, Sanchez and Gazzaniga too

Bit ambitious but I love the song....

America 'horse with no name'

'Ive been on the google searching a man with no name.He looked good, but he's no harry Kane!'

'I know what I'm worth and I'm underpaid. I'm good , but I'm no harry kane'
'

Then

'La la la la la la La la la la la la la la

DANNY ROSE!'

'La la la la la la la la la la la la la

DANNY ROSE!

The worst thing about this googling business hasn't actually got anything to do with Rose.

Going forward, every time we're linked with a player, one of the first posts in the thread will be something about googling him.

To be fair, every time you threaten some new sadomasochistic punishment ritual, I have to google that too.

I can't decide if it's an improvement on 'YouTube-ing' him.

Even worse, I'm now wondering if 'YouTubing' or 'YouTubeing' would be more grammatically correct.

Fuck you, Danny Rose. Booooo.

This is turning into some sick WWE scripted story line

The teacher's pet turned heel and then pretend to apologise

Expect to see a reconciliation meeting between Rose & Pochettino before fat chest do a triple body slam on the manager

Danny's agent will be turning up at games with a mystical urn to magically revive him.

Gary Neviile putting Rose in his place right now on Sky.

  • Said he was very unprofessional
  • just him coming out to a paper and saying that was bad
  • other clubs wouldn't be impressed by the way he's gone about it
  • in his first couple of years was 4th or 5th choice left back and that changed when Poch came
  • asking to leave is fine but the way you do it is important and carries on through life as he will be remembered for these things

  • Carragher stating how disrespectful the 'google' comment was
  • many didn't know Berbatov for instance
  • disrespectful to many players in that dressing room
  • every player wants medals and more money but you don't say that publicly.
Glad they gave him a bit of a roasting to be honest.
Precisely dont you think his agency was forced into a token apology to regain some face from that farce, afterall they need to protect his brand image

Probably a deterrent for personal sponsors

I don't like the timing of Danny Rose's outburst to the press and I don't think it was appropriate that he said what he said - but he has a point. The latest news is that we're after Diop and Sanchez. Who are these players? I'll have to Google them for sure.

Tottenham Hotspur finished second in the League last year. We're playing in the Champions League (again) this year. Is that the best we can do? Even if we get Barkley is that really good enough? This especially in view of the sale of Walker. Other competing clubs have invested and are stronger. Spurs are weaker than when the season ended last May.

Levy has said that the stadium build will not have an impact on transfers. I'm not sure I believe that.

If decent players are not brought in then we're in trouble. Ignore what a lack of quality signings will have on where this club finishes this season and think of what this lack of commitment to on-field success will have on Pochettino. ITK has said that Barkley wants to come to us (especially) because of Pochettino. If Pochettino is discouraged and leaves at the end of next season it's more than likely that ambitious players will be less inclined to come to Spurs. It's also highly likely that a number of the stars that have been developed under our present coach will want out.

This club needs to support the coach to keep him here. And I'm pretty certain that he's not looking for more projects to develop instead of talent that can have an immediate impact. The team needs quality now - not in two or three years.

Levy needs to pull out his finger and bring in players to make us stronger than last year.

Committment and action needs to be shown.

Has ANY Premier League club spent less than us this summer? How much money has been made from player sales? Quite a bit I think.

No more excuses for last minute failures. Please.

Don't leave it too late, Mr. Levy. The longer term implications for failure to sign the right players this window are not pretty.

Christ if I read another Danny Google joke I think I'm going to top myself. It was funny the first 10 times I read it today but the last 90 times it's been posted have started to grate on me. It's been used in EVERY player transfer rumour today. Guys, you need to get some more material :sour:

Pretty sure this one is going to run for a while...

Ben Pearce‏@BenPearceSpurs
#thfc Pochettino: "If you remember, five years ago, people said ‘who is Pochettino?’. I’m sure they used Google or Yahoo to find out."

Ben Pearce‏@BenPearceSpurs
Pochettino: "But the problem with that was that all they saw straight away was the penalty against Michael Owen. That situation killed me."

:ROFLMAO:

Rose should learn from our manager. Pochettino is a serious man but he can laugh at himself and stay dignified with it. A real classy trait.

Yup :D it's the new 'Bayern in for'

Personally I'm happy for players to say what they are thinking. Most fans I think agree with what he said pay our good players in line with other clubs and bring in quality players not risky unknowns

So we should pay the same wages as Chelsea,Man city, Man U. Even though we bring in only a fraction of their revenue? Yeah, makes sense...

Looking at our current first team squad, we have 22 senior players. Of that 22, Trippier, Rose, Lamela and Nkoudou have been definitely ruled out. Wanyama and Son are also under serious doubt after missing pre season games. 6 players ruled out leaves us just 16 fit players to fill an 18 man match day squad.

Danny's agent will be turning up at games with a mystical urn to magically revive him.

Now if he could do that today so he'd be fit to play and boost our very talented, but paper thin squad up to 17, that'd be fantastic

Son and victor will both be in the squad on Sunday and then you will have a sprinkling of youth players as well! Don't be so doom mongering
