If his knee is dodgy we should definitely sell but not sure if he'd pass a medical now anyway.

I honestly don't have much of an opinion on whether he should stay or go. If he leaves then fine as long as we get a good fee, if he stays great as long as he is fully committed to the club.

The Sun one is written by the guy who did his interview in August so I suspect its Rose trying to put himself out there for a transfer. shame.

Linked to Manchester United again.

If we are offered 50m or even 40m, we should take that and run. I’m not sure he’ll ever get back to his best with his knee issues. Get Luke Shaw on loan with an option to purchase as a part exchange and re-invest the cash in purchasing the Sessegnon brothers.

So you want to cash in on Rose because of a possible, yet unconfirmed, chronic knee problem and instead replace him with Luke "sicknote" Shaw, who is widely known to be not only crocked but completely unprofessional and unfit?

No thanks.

If Rose makes it clear he wants out and we get a big offer then I guess we have to take it, but I want it all in cash so that we can get a quality player that we actually want in, not some cast off as part of an exchange deal. Reminds me of when we sold Berbatov for cash + Frazier fucking Campell on loan, it was a complete insult.

Why would a massive offer come in for him if he has a dodgy knee and will never be the same? Man Utd aren't some mugs who don't give their signings medicals. We won't be 'cashing in' at all if this is the case.

Reading reports that Shaw earns £130k a week so this alone rules him out of coming here.

IF he is on those wages, there are very few clubs that can afford to pay him that. They could easily end up contributing to his wages at his new club, or taking much less that they would want to encourage someone to buy him, just like Citeh and Ade!

Why is it that the majority of Spurs fans always, ALWAYS mention Luke Shaw as someone they want. There are plenty of LBs around the world that we can go after. Seems like people mention him become they cant come up with another player.

As mentioned above, he's a crock and on massive wages....yean, no thanks.

I think he potentially has a problem. Not injury wise, but option wise. If United decide to go elsewhere, he's fucked. Putting all his eggs in Jose's bastard basket could well be his undoing.

We clearly want sessegnon and if that's to replace Davies and allow a motivated and committed Rose to mentor and rotate with then great. But Rose thinking it's easy to move to greener pastures is niave beyond comprehension.

I know, I just don't get it. Its because the papers lazily link us with him so they just spout the same thing I suspect.

Shaw gets linked cos of his time with Poch at Southampton and cos he is (well, used to be) a very similar player to Rose, in that he's quick, physical and loves to get forward. Plus he has fallen out of favour at United, so obviously he gets mentioned when the subject of Rose going up there arises.

That said, I don't think we should sign him.
