Vincenzo Iaquinta, better known in these parts as Dave, the striker with whom we were continually linked over the years, has been sentenced to 2 years in prison for possession of arms.

In a big anti mafia case centred on Naples and the ‘ndrangheta gang, he was accused of possessing a Smith&Wesson 357 calibre magnum, a Kalt-tec Browning and 126 bullets. His father was sentenced to 19 years!

The ex-Udinese, Juventus and world cup winning striker called the judgement a disgrace!

Slight correction, not sure where you've got "centred on Naples" from really. According to that article anyway it was about 'ndrangheta, the organised crime group from Calabria (the "toe" of Italy's boot shape) and how they were trying to increase their influence in the north of the country. Arrest were made all over Italy but as far as I can tell from that article none of them were in Naples and not even in the same province as Naple. In fact Naples, and the province of Campania, aren't mentioned at all.

O zio mio, you're right, mixed Campania with Calabria and added incorrectly Naples to give context.
