Just a thought and im not sure if this has already been said but i have read this morning that David Beckham is going to be training with watford while there are no games for LA Galaxy.

Would it not be a good idea to get him training with us and getting him to use his expearience to help improve some of our younger players - the likes of tarrabt, lennon (crossing in paricular) and routledge, i mean maybe lennon got this when with England but surely having him there on a daily basis could only be a good thing??

Just a thought and maybe a long shot but i thought i'd put it out there!?!?!?

I'd have him sit in our central midfield for a couple of games as well if he wants to pay his keep.

I wouldn't have had a problem with that Streaks, couldn't hurt to have his experience around. Surprised the best he could do was Watford!

It would turn our club into an even bigger media circus than it is already!

Hollywood becks should stay in Hollywood!

Yes it clearly would be a disaster with experince in our team. Let's keep the schoolboys on the pitch....

If there was anyway we could get a fit Beckham I'd take him in a second in the centre of our midfield. Great passing range, not a great tackler but he is quite agressive (alot more than Hudd), has a great shot, experience, and energy. Never going to happen but would definately benefit us in the short term.

Personally I'd love Becks to train with us. I've lost count on how many posts / threads there have been about our defence / goalkeeper's inability to deal with set pieces.

If there is a better taker of free kicks or corners available to train Robbo, Kaboul, Daws and Chimbo out there, then please take him on. If not, I'd gladly take Becks for a couple of months, for that reason alone.

This Beckham thing has been doing the rounds for a while now. I said that we should have taken him during the Davids signing two seasons ago as we needed experience.

I was shot down by a quite a few posters as usual.

I agree that his temporary addition to the coaching squad would be a good thing. Our crossing and set pieces are woeful.

I think we've had quite enough of media circuses already this season. Otherwise, it wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

Spurs lack leadership in midfield and have some of the poorest crossing and setpiece stats.

Beckham has leadership and excells at crossing and setpieces.

On loan so no major transfer fee. In return Spurs lend out one or two in need of training and games to Galaxy next summer.

Beckham gets fit for England and helps some England "hopefuls" become England "certains".

Beckham on a Spurs shirt selling millions.

Things that make you go Hmmmmmmmmh?
