Yeah I’d love him here even at the higher price but I can’t see it. I’d take him, Wilson, Ake... another of Bournemouth players actually.

Cracking player. Well worth a look. Really like Wilson too.

Not sure how Bournemouth could justify selling key players in Jan however, they could end up being relegated.

Think he would offer us plenty, it'd be a yes from me if we have genuine interest.

Conversely -

Does Brooks constitute a player that represents Spurs ambition in the transfer market and thus backing Poch, giving him the tools to attempt to win the Prem?

Just asking for some friends.

Only watched the first half of Everton - Bournemouth yesterday and Brooks looked really impressive imo. Great technique, good with both feet, full of confidence etc. It would be so interesting to see what Poch could do with him.

A big step in the right direction, for me.

If Lewis Cook hadn't picked up that terrible injury I would have liked us to be in for him as well as / instead of Brooks.

I don't think it's pure coincidence that Bournemouth were flying at the start of the season, then since Lewis Cook got injured they've won 1 Premier League game out of 9.

*edit - 2 Premier League games out of 9. Point stands, though.

Lewis Cook is also someone else we were meant to have scouted quite a lot. There seems to be a pattern here but I cannot put my finger on it ...

As much as they take it to the extreme, maybe Chelsea have the right idea buying these players when they're very young and loaning them out. Feels like we missed out on this kid when he went to Bournemouth, and he's probably now out of our price range.

Young, HG PL proven. I welcome it if we actually move.
I would have said similar pre injury, he looked good at Leeds and was kicking on at Bournemouth but a bit like Winks it'll be all about his recovery now. If he comes back looking like the player prior to the injury, I'd be most happy if our interest was still there.

I guess all of this as hindsight. Still, I have hope if our scouting department are looking at the likes of Brooks and Cook.

Class player.

Much like Alli, has come into this league with no prior experience and absolutely flourished. He's now Bournemouth's best player.

What a deal they did to get him for less than £12m last summer. Must be worth 3-4 times that now.

Nah, but we have more pressing needs tbh - plus I don't know if he matches Pochs ambition ...

For one reason or another, I've actually seen a bit of Bournemouth this season, and IMO he is so far ahead of everyone as their best player that I would say it was like men and boys if, well, Brooks didn't look like he was about 13 himself. He's even been better than Wilson so far imo.

Just a player that is aesthetically pleasing to watch as he is effective. He's genuine class, and I can't imagine he'll be playing down there for too long. I'd love him here.

We need to break the bank for him. Brilliant player sweet left foot I just see him and Dele Alli causing complete havoc . How much would he cost now 35-40
