No class, no idea, no chance.

Anyone else find it cringe worthy how Moyes is using Cesc and Bale as a PR stunt to show he is one of the big boys? Big clubs dont publicise bids on Sky Sports News!

Whilst I do think they might struggle this season if they don't improve the squad, this post is a little far fetched.

Moyes has taken over a team that won the league by a hefty margin. This the same manager who got a thin and not brilliant Everton squad to consistently overperform including qualifying for the champions league the season after selling Rooney.

Yes I think they will struggle to match Chelsea and City this year, but I fully expect them to fighting for 3rd (hopefully with us!).

It's hardly a disaster yet is it, he's a very good manager and he's been given the opportunity to manage an excellent team. Did you think it was a disaster when we appointed AVB just because a few numpties in the press decided it must be?

I think Moyes is in for a tough fIrst few games... He needs to hit the floor running, if he is able to stamp his authority and get the results going... Everything else should fall into place...

It's if results don't go their way, dropping points and players making mistakes... And Moyes need to make the tough decision to bench players not performing, and taking risk on other players.

I see Moyes bring in a couple of former Everton players over... If he is able to win the influental players over with his style of management, think he will make it man utd.

After all, rumours are that he was hand picked by fergi... So don't think much will go wrong.

Anyways... Looking forward to the Chelsea match... Gonna be his first big test.

I like Moyes always have. I do think he will be in for a tough time, he needs to be given a couple of seasons.

Hardly Moyes' fault - he's just a puppet for Utd, he's the face - it's not as if it's his decision to publicize the bids.

I like Moyes but do wonder about the United pressure. Despite being one of the historically great teams, Everton was a low key ride comparitively with little expectation. Step up this year. Much as I love AVB, still makes me laugh how many turned their noses up at the thought of Moyes joining us.... Could of but fortunately didn't do worse!

It's difficult for him. He's basically a quiet person, while Rednose wanted to have his say on everything. So he's forced to talk more than he likes and slips will show.

Moyes comes across as a "nice" guy and even though he's had to make tough decisions in the past it'll be nothing like the mind games he'll undergo from the majority of those around him who'll be sounding him out while constantly comparing him to old red nose. Guy must be a complete maniac to take the job of managing Untd.

I think Moyes will be fine at United, although who couldn't succeed there?

And in fairness to him with the Fabregas transfer bid - he has identified United's greatest area of weakness within weeks which Ferguson failed to address for the best part of a decade.

Rich is blatantly getting in early so that he can look like a genius at Christmas when they're in 5th place with the Dippers biting at their heels

I predict Utd will finish 3rd based on the roster. The fact that they won it last year over Chelsea and City is a testament to Ferguson's ability.
