Some clever folk in Paddy Powers marketing department, although they sometimes push it too far.

Makes you wonder though doesn't it. A guy who can't play attacking football and won fuck all. I think he's a decent manager but for United? I mean what was his USP, his loyalty? Yippee.

haha. I defended Moyes earlier in this thread, but Everton is looking pretty good since he left.

Moyes will deliver but he will deliver what he can. I said when people on here, after Harry, wanted Moyes that he was an out of date manager. Decent guy, makes his teams hard to beat given time but not ever for me right for a top team. Having said that we all United don't have that great a squad. They have some real class players up front but their midfield is woeful

Old tea cosy is right about one thing, when Busby steepped down things went bad but he hung around the club and the same thing is happening again. Moyes can never be his own man while Fergie is still there. If there was any chance if the current squad winning the league Fergie would never have stood down.

I agree about United, and said as much last year. The fact that SAF won the prem with that squad speaks volume about his ability as a manager. I also thought United would struggle through no fault of Moyes. But now that Everton seems better maybe by subtraction, Im wondering.

I'm disappointed, I've delighted in watching Man Utd finally be shit again, and long was I hoping it would continue.

When they were dominant over the last 20 years, I tried to picture what it would be like to see them as a failure, and how that could every possibly happen. I wanted it to, as they kept beating us and winning everything but now it has happened they almost become irrelevant. Weird.
