Why would Barca let him go?
He's still one of Spain's best forwards.
Does he truly fit their system? Just asking .....

Messi or Vila? Messi or Villa? Messi or Villa? Messi or Villa? Messi or Villa? Such a hard choiceWhy would Barca let him go?

I thought he played the wide left role quite well for them?
Lol and can't Messi and Villa behave like professionals? (unless Villa 'Did a Terry' on Messi and shagged his missus).
Not related to us, but I thought those who live in fantasy land would like to read this:
From BBC:
1457:
TRANSFER LATEST
Catalan daily Sport says David Villa has asked to leave Barcelona in this transfer window with much interest from Premier League clubs.
Sure that's not too expensive for us?Spurs trying to get him on a free by the sounds of it ;-)
didn't Eto'o also fall out with Messi?
Sure that's not too expensive for us?
Dont even think of his wages.
I thought Eto'o fell out with management. But if true, then looks like Messi has a Messi(anic) complex. Yeah, I went there
There were several Statements from Villa himself, Pique and other Players from Barcelona, wich I would post to if i wasn't to lazy for it . Same Message, different Day.Vilanova: "David (Villa) won't leave. He had a serious injury. He's important for us. We missed him last season, he won't leave."
This Quote is one week old. Forget about him, he's not going anywhere. Just the Papers trying to fill the gaps.

Etoo had a wage rise in his contract that essentially made him stupidly highly paid. From memory he had 20% per year increase, and had a long term contrcat, hence why they did that mental deal with him plus cash for Zlatan (deal worth something like £80 Million on the fact of it). Etoo is a cash whore, a very good cash whore.
Barça have apparently put a €19,500,000 price tag on David Villa who isn't getting much of a look in at the Camp Nou. Should We enter the market for him?
He's half the price of Torres, cheaper than Leandro, a World and European Cup winner and has been a prolific striker who has scored 6 goals in 14 appearances this season.
He is however 32, currently suffering from Kidney Stones and returning from a horrendous leg break in the 2011 Club World Cup...
Any thoughts?
